Our Rottie, Deacon

I'm so glad I take pictures.
Yesterday we had to say goodbye to our wonderful dog, Deacon. We had him with us for almost 10 years. I have sorted through files of images today looking for what I knew was my favorite BW shot of Deacon. I couldn't remember what year I took the photo, but I knew it was in the fall. I've had such a flood of memories today. He was a wondful dog and I will miss him greatly. Here is my favorite shot.

Amy, I am so sorry. I'm glad I had the pleasure of meeting your wonderful, sweet boy. Their passing leaves such a hole in our hearts--they give so much love in their short time with us. Wishing you comfort in all the treasured memories you have of him.
