Did they really change the wake-up call? Is it not Mickey any more?

I have heard that rumor, and I, too, would love to know that. Take away EE, Enites, give me shorter hours, but change the wake-up call to not having Mickey? If so, Disney has finally crossed the line!

During the week from 8/8/02-8/15/02 the wake-up calls were from Stitch.

8/21-8/24 were Stitch at the Poly. We never got a wake up call at the YC, so can't help you after that.

Maybe they will start doing lots of different characters. That would be fun!

Okay, I feel better now. I thought that someone had said that it was some sort of advertisement now. I usually get the wake up call (even when not needed) just so I can here Mickey. Isn't that pathetic??!!

Just returned from the AKL yesterday. Had a wake up call every morning from "The Mouse" himself.

Mickey is just a little too cheery at 7 a.m. though! ;)

We were at BCV from the 25-30, we only got the wake up call once cause it was Stitch. Not the samw without Mickey. I did tell the desk at BC that we liked Mickey better.

Just back and Mickey was the wake-up call at both the Boardwalk Villas and Polynesian. Kinda wanted to hear Stitch at least once but it was great to hear Mickey!

Also just returned from AKL and our wake up call the first two days was Stitch. Didn't really need the wake up calls, so we stopped getting them.

No, I don't think that's at all pathetic. And Mickey is not too cheery for me. When he tells me to "Up and at 'em, Pal!" I hop right up-must do what the mouse says!

I also get a wake up call every morning just to hear Mickey. It never fails to put a smile on my face. Nothing against Stitch but I want "The Mouse"!

Just got back from the CR and Stitch called the first 4 days and Mickey called the last 4. I was very upset to hear Stitch. My kids were joking with me all week saying that next time I go Stitch was going to be everywhere and Mickey was getting fazed out!

July 13 - 19 we had Stitch call. He was horrible. Yelling and screeching. Actually, I never could understand what he said. Needless to say, since then I'm not a Stitch fan. Too much like my kids.;)

I love hearing Mickey... but I would LOVE to hear Stitch! Too bad they can't work out a system with say 10 different characters that you could have your choice of. Only 8 more days til I hear the Mouse....

I LOVED the Stitch call. It actually starts out with a few bars of Elvis, I think it was Suspicious Minds the first day, then Stitch saying "You get up now, you hear?".

I LOVE Stitch :)

Personally Mickey's voice is screachy to me, and I never get a wakeup call at WDW because I do'nt like hearing his voice first thing in the morning.

Well after running a Google search I finally found a site that had the WAV file I needed, in the UK. So please disregard my plea for help.
