Not my best trip for photography, particularly of us, but I got some keepers.

Woot! Have been waiting for this. I can't blame you for not having a stellar trip photographically speaking...I'd think on my first visit to anywhere so great I'd get too caught up in enjoying myself to really "worry" about the pictures.

I scanned the pictures and haven't read the report yet, but I think you did an overall great job with the photography. Your inside Space Mountain shots are really good, IMO.

Artistically, your picture of (it's Sarah isn't it?) on the Carousel is really awesome. I liked the self-portrait of you two on Dumbo too.

+1, Even though the picture of Sarah on the carousel is a little noisy and maybe not as sharp as it could be, I think it's awesome...maybe one of my favorites.

Tom, I can totally relate to being in Disney with a spouse who just lost a loved one because my Husband got the news his Grandfather passed away at 8:30am on the first full day of our trip in December. Because we spent so much on the trip, he was really a trooper and managed to muster all the excitement he could throughout the four days we stayed, but it's hard to enjoy yourself when someone on your trip is obviously just putting on a brave face for the sake of your enjoyment. My condolences to you both and all the more reason to return for a trip in the future that starts on a happier note!

Thanks. I'm sure we'll enjoy it anyway. The Honeymoon report was a great read (and look).

Enjoyed the report and the pictures. I wonder if you'll find as I have that the more you go back to DL then the less the size of the Castle seems so out of place. And - the fact it actually has an attraction in it really evens it up for me.

Interesting your experience with security which has been similar to mine - getting swept out of the park very meticulously. Other's have reported being able to take lots of time for their pictures.

And Mr. Toad - it's the best! :rotfl: (Really - it's a must do for me.)
