Anyone have a Nikon D2H?

MY DH is the photographer in the family. He is considering buying a used Nikon D2H and was wondering if there is anyone on DIS who has one and wouldn't mind answering some questions he has.

If he is getting a DSLR for the first time, I would not recommend the camera. It is three year old technology and there are current models that do far more better than that camera. When the D3 and D700 came out it pretty well retired the D2H in my opinion.

Also if it is his first one it can be overwhelming because it is designed as at Pro camera.

Unless someone was almost giving it to me I would get something else.

I am sure others would have other opinions, but that is mine

CORRECTION: DH already has a D2H. He just wanted to ask someone a few questions about taking some pictures at Disney (fireworks, Illuminations, rides, etc.) that are on my "must take picture list."

The advice for getting shots with it would be the same as with any other DSLR.
