Digital Photo frame questions

Hi all, I was hoping I can get a little guidance......

I would really love to get my parents a digital frame for Christmas this year....
and since I don't own one (yet:rolleyes:) I was curious about a couple of things.

1) can you take pictures from your pc and load them onto the frame? and if not is there a way to take pictures from your pc and put them on a memory card? so that I can use the memory card to load pictures on

and

2) does anyone recommend a good one? nothing too expensive, prob. no more then 70.00 if possible.

I have the Pandigital mdl 7000DW 7 inch frame. You can load images straight to the frame from your pc (1 gb) and/or on a SD card (or other types of memory cards). It also has a remote control that attaches to the back by a magnet so it doesn't get lost! The Pandigital 7000 is currently selling on Amazon for $64.95 w/free shipping. For $4.72 more you can get a Sandisk 4gb SD card. I have had mine for over a year and it works great. As a matter a fact I'm looking at it right now, as it sits on my desk next to my monitor.

I also have a Pandigital, I downsize the pics first and then put them on an SD memory card, you can fit thousands of pics on a cheap 2 GB card.

sure, insert the card into the PC!
or if your PC doesn't have a card reader just go down to Walmart and get a $5 card reader that inserts into the USB port.

Would like to set it up for my grandmother to see photos of her great-granchildren, but I can't find any sort of guide as to the actual pixel dimensions of the screen. It seems to be closer to a 16:9 ratio than the one you referenced. Anyone, by any chance, have one of these? Looks very much like the one referenced above, but it has internal memory of 512MB ...

I am very pleased with the quality of the image. My daughter is the one who convinced me. She had one and was extremely happy with hers.

Pixeemom has both 7" Pandigital frames in the previous post with all the specs. I have the second one and it appears you have the first. All the specs are there to look at.
