We used KFO last year for May 26 ten night and are hoping for it this year.....we are waiting to book in January or even later. The catch is that right now the price is lower than it was last year....Last year with KFO we paid $9990 for a CAT 4 with 2A and 3C ( all 3 children free). Right now it is 9500 without the KFO.

Disney med cruise was AMAZING and i'm looking to take my family again. However, i'm waiting (and hoping) for the kind of discounts they gave in 2010 which was 999 per person. IF that pops back up - i'm in.

...it was 999 for adults and about half or a third for our 2 year old. (plus a cash back card from Costco when we booked thru them).

When did the $999 offer come out? I wonder if we have any hope at all. I mean, they released the KFO in July of last year for this year. No sale yet on this as far as I can tell. We so wanted to do the Baltics, but had to go on RCCL because of the cost on DCL. We will only sail DCL from now on. No we just have to be able to afford it!

I don't know if you will get any deals for the summer as many more of us have heard of this cruise;) so I think it will get all booked up without discounts. If you look at the DCL site and view the staterooms available, there aren't that many left x

I think they posted 999 starting in May or June of 2010. We bought in July for our late August cruise. The boat was not full. They have added several 7 day cruises - which seem interesting. My choice would be the 11 day, then the 7 and the 10 day last. There is an extra day at sea on 11 day (compared to the 10 day) and it was an amazing break after some very long travel days - keep in mind in Italy most of the tourist spots are an hour or two away (each way).

In just taking a quick look at the Disney cruise website it does appear to be lower priced than last year when even inside cabins were 2000+++ per person.

CAT 12s first opened up at the $999 pp rate in late Nov 2009 for the early (April and May) cruises.

Thats when I was able to snatch up my deal at $1600 (solo) for an 11 night Med cruise.
