Hi

Does anyone know of any good rental car deals for January. We would like to be able to get the car at the airport in orlando.

We have rented a house for the last week in January and need a rental car.

any help would be appreciated

check www.mousesavers.com for special codes. Also - I know it sounds like overkill but check the websites EVERYDAY!!!! I orginally had an SUV for 8 days with a total rate (taxes, surcharges, etc) for $450. I kept checking and caught a "plan ahead special" - same company, same car, same time frame - for $320. Since then, it has gone back up. The special lasted maybe a few days, if that.

Hello schwobe- We're renting in Jan. 03 also. We've checked about 8 diff. companys and we found the best deal so far is National car rental. They are onsite, so no transfer shuttle to get to them. We booked for 9 days at base rate of 230.40 before taxes and fees. Are you a Disney Club member? There is a discount code that you can combine with a contract code to get a good rate. If you're not, and the savings are good enough, maybe it would pay to join the Disney Club and get the discount. Check the online site and enter rate code ( NHOL ) and contract # (5901600). You'll need to be a Disney Club member to receive the rate at pick up of the rental car.

In Orlando I've always done best with www.alamo.com, and they have a very user-friendly website. Use the internet discount code, YQ. You can avoid the line for the sales reps at the counter and do everything online (like decline their insurance waiver). Their site shows you every car available rather than making you select a vehicle type.

May I suggest another website. biddingfortravel. com (Sorry I don't know how to add the link here for their website). I saw it on the trans. board and looked at it myself. It has some good contract codes (as well as their orgin) and coupon codes with links.
