Anyone just back eat at Boatrights at POR? This is our firts time staying there and were wondering how the breakfasts and dinners were.

Also, back in August 2000 we had excellent chicken wraps at Peco's bill's in MK. Anyone know if they still serve them?

Thanks

We loved Boatwrights. I espescially liked the banana stuffed french toast. Yum! Never had the buffet though and I've never been to Pecos Bills either. Sounds good-I think I will give it a try next trip!

BTW-when we went to Boatwrights the wait was very long and it was packed (This was in the off season-Dec) so be sure to make PS before, or as soon as you get to your hotel.

we just got back from POR on Aug. 25th...we ate dinner at Boatrights twice and was very good...BUT I do not think you need to make a PS..because everytime we were there, there were about 10-15 people in the resturant...(the second time we ate there on Fri. 8-23...there were 6 people dining)

There is no more breakfast buffet...(i was disappointed) but the last day we ate breakfast there and it was good...

For some reason, it appears that the general public has a negative feeling about this resturant...now I am no "food critic" but we thought it was very good and moderately priced.

Hope this helps.

PoR is my favorite resort :D
We've eaten at Boatwrights for dinner and breakfast several times.
Very good! And I agree the Banana French toast...yummy!!
They don't have the "buffet" anymore but they have a preplated all-you-can-eat option. DH enjoyed it!

As my hubby remarked after our July visit, Boatwright's is one of WDW's best kept secrets. We had a wonderful dinner there - the best food we had in WDW during our stay. We did have PS's but it wasn't very crowded. I still think a PS is a good idea - it's free and it's peace of mind. I had the prime rib with mashed potatoes. My husband had the jambalaya. My daughter had the barbecue chicken. The food was wonderful and the service was excellent. Boatwright's is such a relaxed atmosphere. I highly recommend it to all! :p

We ate there in May and loved it. My husband had the gumbo and I had the prime rib. We were both very happy with our choices!

We ate at Boatwrights in October and didn't think much to it. The meals was very expensive and the atmosphere was not too inspiring either. We had the cheapest bottle of red wine on the menu and at $25 I thought is was extremely over priced!

We loved the food court at POR though - lots of choice and not to pricey.

We ate there for dinner the last time we were there and we loved it - we plan to go back & try the breakfast this time- It is not one of Disney's better known places but the food was really good -

I was very surprised at the chicken wraps at Pecos Bill's! If I had only known how large they were, I wouldn't have ordered chili fries, too! :) These huge sandwiches are well worth the price and I'm sure I'll be having them again.

Funny, when I first ate at PB's way back in '93--it was just awful! Terrible burgers, no fixin's bar and the fries were cold as ice! It left a bad impression that took almost 10 years to overcome. The only reason we ate there this time around was the Pirate y el Perico was not open for business and we needed to grab a bite quickly since it was our final day and we were rushing around.
