View Full Version : Rooms at the very back?

I just booked Fantasy for April 2012 and got assigned Stateroom 7194, which is one of the rooms at the very back of the ship. We've been forward, mid and aft and never thought of a room at the very back. One part of me think it'll be really cool to get a 360 view of the ocean, but then I worry about the motion.

Can anyone been in one of those back of ship rooms share their experience?

Thank you!

It shouldn't be too bad. At the AFT you get more side to side motion then up and down. But it shouldn't be too bad. pirate:

We've sailed in both 8600 and 8602 - all the way aft on the Magic (as well as in forward and mid-ship cabins) and didn't really notice much difference in motion. We did feel it when they used the side thrusters when docking, but nothing major. We like the aft cabins because they tend to be quieter - very little hallway traffic/noise.
