On Mousesavers.com it says that these discounts have been released as of 9/1/2002 - though I can't find them on my account at disneyclub.com or at mousesavers.com.
Anyone else know where to look?
Suppose I could make a phone call :p
The Disney Club website has indicated they will publish this information some time during September. You can call Disney Club Services at 1-800-933-3975 now to receive specific rate information for particular dates with your Disney Club member number.

I just booked a reservation for next July at the Wilderness Lodge and got the Disney Club discount. Basically, I had to call and ask about availability and rates. I got what amounted to an 18% discount on the room. Seemed like a pretty good deal to me so I booked it.
You could just call and see what they offer.

Called today and got a 10% room discount and $100 off dreammaker gold package. Saved the 2 of us about $400.
By the way, this was for March 2003

not sure i should post this somewhere else or not, but...
i'm currently not a dc member. i have been thinking about it but i have several questions:
1 - will this save me $$ on my tickets?
2 - i'm not staying on dis property, so it won't save me there, i believe i have read you get discounts at participating resteraunts??
3 - i don't shop at dis store that often )i know, shame on me!)
so after all of this, is it really worth purchasing a membership??
any advise if appreciated!

I may be in the minority here in regard to the Disney Club....
I believe that the going rate for membership is about $39.95 these days....can get it cheaper with certain codes at certain times....
After a few months of being a member....and....evaluating what I gained as a result....my thoughts are as follows:
The website: Not a whole lot going on here.
The hotel reservations:
Booked in March for a December trip....probably got close to 20% off the rack rate AND felt a whole lot closer to realizing my trip..........was able to get a great code in July and saved even more money....all arrangements were handed via DC service representatives......
{the same code rate was accessible by everyone be they DC members or not}
The shopping/dining discounts:
About 10% at a few restaurants and a few shops.
The magazine:
Pretty nice magazine that you get quarterly....LOTS of great info in the magazines!!!
The toll free phone numbers:
In my opinion....the BIGGEST perk of membership....{depending on your cellular service...this may be no big deal}....
SOOOO......you are not staying on site.....the merchandise/dining discount is NOT that big of a perk....IMHO....but the magazine and the toll free numbers are pretty kewl.....
Need to decide what works best for you......I would probably like to have an active membership to cover any period that I would be visiting WDW....but that again....is just my opinion......

thanks jinnyboom!
with all the codes, cost saving tips i've picked up on these boards, i'm not sure that i'm going to do the dc membership.
we've been lucky so far... found a three bedroom condo for 7 nights including all taxes ect for 460.00 and we have eight FREE rt airline tickets!!!
the big choices now are trying to find the best character meals and deciding which tickets to purchase.

Will you be renting a car? The Disney Club gives a good discount at National. You can get up to 20% off the rental plus use a coupon for a free day on the weekend. You can also join their Emerald Club for free with DC membership. The discounts are good for all rentals, not just those in Orlando. The car rental savings more than paid for my membership.
For example, I was able to reserve a full size for 8 days for $238.18 and that includes all taxes and fees. It's for our trip this coming December. I also could have gotten a compact for $160, including all taxes and fees. Car prices seem to go up and down, though, so I'm not sure if those rates are still in effect.
That said, I still check other agencies because sometimes they are less expensive than National, even with the DC discount. I usually start my research with a visit to MouseSavers.
Enjoy your trip!

I made a reservation last night with my Disney Club discount. I booked a one bedroom Beach Club Villa for 3 nights, and the Gold Package, in July for 2 adults and a 14 year old. Price was $2919.59 and I have to have the deposit of $100 to them by Sept. 17th and the balance is due June 16th. I also made a room only reservation for the One bedroom Beach Club Villa for the fourth night. The price was $367.98 with tax. I was pleased with the CM and with the discount.

Could you check to tell me if they have any 2 bedroom OKW or BCV available thru the disney club for next July, in particular July 18 and 19. We have to renew our disney club membership but I was waiting for another month. I would really appreciate it. thanks
