View Full Version : Anyone ever do the DCL Ocean View Explorer Tour # CZ-22?

Our 60 day mark will be here soon, and we are trying to narrow down what excursions we want to do.

Has anyone very done the DCL Ocean View Explorer Tour (CZ-22) in Cozumel?
If so:

*Do you have any Pro's or Con's?

*Was it worth the price? Do you think this is something you should have booked on your own, and not through DCL?

*What departure time did you have? The excursion list has an 11 am and 12:45pm meeting time. Did you have anytime to visit any beaches on Cozumel? We we also looking at going to Chankanaab ~ do you think we could do both. or do you recommend any other beaches in the area?

Any input you may have will be greatly appreciated!

I believe that is the one that we did in cozumel. My 3 dd wanted to go under the sea like the Little Mermaid. It was ok. I wouldn't do it again. It is good for those who don't like to snorkel.

Ok - I booked this and have until 11/7 to change my mind -- anyone else out there that has gone on this excursion - any feed back???:confused:

How was the view of the fish? We did a similar excursion in Freeport a few years ago and the windows weren't real clear. Did you see alot of fish?
Shercara, we are on the 11/9/02 cruise also and are wondering about this excursion. DD8 saw the picture in the excursion brochure and said she would like to do it. She doesn't like swimming in ocean water, so snorkeling is out. This would be her only opportunity to see underwater.:rolleyes:

We did see a good amount of fish. What was really neat was when the diver came down to feed the fish. Now that was a beautiful sight!
