Help ... can't get over fear over rollor coaster

HELP!!!!MY sister who is 15 going to be 16 when we leave 4 our trip 2 WDW needs to get over her fear of roller coasters(we are leavin on november 5th)...i try to tell her it's no big deal but she doesn't want to listen to her 13 yo little sis. plz tell her how to get over it and how fun it is when she does(if she does is more like it) lol :wave: :sunny: :crazy: :earsgirl: :p ;) :smooth: :Pinkbounc :teeth: :sunny: :bounce: :tongue: :rolleyes: :eek: ;) :D :) :jester: !

thats a hard one..id probably tell her how much fun the ride is..has she been on rolalr coasters before and had negative experiences..or does she just fear them?

just tell her its really fun and that if she hates it once she gets on she can just close her eyes. also tell her that she's strapped in the whole time so there's no way she can get hurt. plus...they're soo much fun!:D

take her on an easy one first. One that doesnt have loops or high drops. Then if she likes that go one step up. She could always close her eyes if she doesnt like it. If you close ur eyes you cant see it happening.

tell her that roller coasters are the safest vehicle ever. A very small amount of people are killed on them (can't remember the exact number), and 99.9% are because the people riding them did something stupid, like trying to get out of harness.

have her ride near the front, since this is the slowest and smoothest place on the train. Plus, she can see where she is going.

I would suggets either BTM or Space mountian. Both of those are relativly calm. Big Thunder mountian prolly is the calmest, because you can see where you are going. Like someone else said, the front seat is the best, you dont get slung around as much. Good Luck!! :):jester:

I was the same way,with the whole 15 thing to! the only think that you can do is get on the coaster. That ia the only way anyone can get over it! Most of teh coasters at disney are really easy! Here is an Idea... go to DTD and got to DQ. do the make your own rollorcoaster thing there. and there is a stop button inside so if you get to scared you can stop the ride!
