? about x-ray scanning

We are driving from Michigan with 3 boys. I am taking DVD's for the kids to watch on the way down.Will the x-ray harm them? I'm worried about leaving them in the van with the heat!! We are going on the seven day cruise. Help!!

DVDs are fine thru x-ray - DO NOT leave them in your car in Florida - when you return you will have some really neato wavy thingies that look like they might have been from this planet at some point in time!
