Disney Store-ask if something is on sale!

Hi :

I just returned from my Disney Store, and noticed some things that were on sale online that weren't marked as on sale at the store. I was just about to leave for home to order online, even if I had to pay shipping. On a whim, I asked them to check the price and they were on sale just like online! I am glad I asked to check the price, or I would have paid shipping unnecessarily. I think I read another post where someone said they decided to order online instead of buying it at the store to get it on sale.

I bought my DD a blue zip up hooded sweatshirt (Eeyore for $29.50, regularly priced 38.00) and it was nice to have her there to try it on because they seem to run real large. Happy Shopping!:jester:

I was able to get some really nice framed pin sets this way. I knew they were some marked 75% at some stores but one store had some but no sale sign.

I asked them to check and they were 75% off, they only had a few and one of the CM's bought the ones I didn't after finding them on sale. :)

That was probably my post..... I wanted two of the ash zip up hooded sweatshirts (Mickey). They were on sale for $28.50 in the store and $19.25 online. So I went home and ordered two and paid the shipping. Ended up costing around $22.66 ea. including tax and frt. Still better than the store price plus tax. But it took an hour+ each way to go check out the store. Free shipping from the store catalog would have helped, but no catalogs that day. Should have asked about them.

I do this at WDW as well. A lot of the shops in the parks have things on sale and the CM's are happy to point them out to you. I have gotten some good buys.

Well it sounds like you still got a pretty good deal even with the shipping, Figgy4me! I guess I missed out when they were that cheap! The coats are really cute! I also ended up buying one of the Pooh T-shirts with the glitter (adult) (also not shown as on sale, but came up on the register as 25% off):bounce:

Yep, I got the Pooh 75th Aniversary set and the Beauty and the Beast 10th Aniversary pin sets the exact same way!
