What happens if you don't show up for a PS?

... not that we would intend to do this... but with two very small children it could happen. I would of course try to notify the restaurant as soon as possible.

As far as I know, nothing happens, but, like you said, it is best to try to catch all the meals that you make PS for, and cancel in advance (or just try to do a walk-up) if you don't think you can make it.

They hold the table for 10 minutes and then give it to a walk up who is waiting. As long as you don't have to put down a deposit when making the PS, there is no penalty. If you know in advance (even 15 minutes prior) that you won't make it, call WDW-DINE and cancel... then they will have the opportunity to open that table for someone who may want it!

Unless it's at Christmas time....I made ps reservations for Chef Mickey's for Christmas morning and they required a charge card The cm said they required a cc during the holidays but I wouldn't be charged "unless I didn't show up". There is a 48 hr cancellation policy as well. I sure hope the busses are on time that morning! I don't make CRT (character bf) ps's, but I think that if you don't show for that one you lose the deposit anytime of year.
