I was surprised to see a meet for this one - but yes, I'll be onboard! So excited to have my family join me. As a very unexpected surprise, I have also won a stateroom on the 2 night Christening Event cruise on 1/19!

Gigi - wow - that is horrible that you couldn't complete the registration. I hope your waitlist comes through. I got my registration in as soon as it opened, but within an hour, I noticed when trying to go back and add in details (passport numbers and such) that the site kept timing out.

Do I dare ask....??? Is the price the same as what they are calling the Maiden Voyage or is it a "complimentary cruise"

neither... the price is very favorable, but certainly not free, and agents were advised that not all services will be up and running, some things (like kids' clubs) will have limited hours, etc...

I am on...with DH and DD. I was not told about limited hours in kids club? Hmmmm...hopefully they are open at night as we would love to just walk the ship without being pulled all over the place! Super excited about being able to tell my clients all about the ship. I will be taking 10000 pics to show everyone. This is going to be very informative! We are giving this to DD as a Christmas surprise...we are booked for B2b on Dream in September and she has been counting down...she will flip over this. She is getting a 7 night on the Magic for her birthday...so the Dream is only fitting for Christmas!

I hope Ivanna Dream is onboard!!!!

I'm dying to know our stateroom assignments! Anyone register as a party of five? One from our agency did and is very anxious about getting that.

I changed my flights today. I got my official invitation for the Christening event from the sweepstakes and they want us there by 4pm the day before. They said our prize includes our hotel stay for the 18th but didn't say which resort.

When i checked the airfare today (originally booked 1/22-1/26) it went down on Southwest, so I rebooked the whole family and have a bunch of $10 credits to use up.

Same here! No phone call and I am headed down on the 21st in the evening and flying back home around 1pm on the 26th. Ivanna Dream just has to be there, after all they did name the ship after her! :rotfl:

I think I registered within seconds of it opening, thank goodness. I know others will be cruising with the TA's but I hope those wait listed can still get in, maybe an oceanview stateroom (199 of those and some sleep 5) or an inside stateroom (150 of those). How many agents do you think got registered? Isn't there 860 staterooms with a verandah? I'm still amazed at how fast it filled.

It will be me, my sister and a good friend of ours. CR 1/20 to 1/23 and then the Poly 1/26 to 1/28. Our agency registered 5 agents for the conference/cruise. The only one confirmed was the owner and that was for the resorts only. Still waiting on the call to get our stateroom assignment. Jumped in and purchased our air, hope that was not a mistake, but thought it would be ok since they did take my conference fee on the business credit card and the extra monies for my guests on my credit card. Air just keeps going up and up so I went ahead and booked.

I think they will be the majority onboard as they shut down the site for a few days before it opened for agents and then it sold out right away. I called the 407# during registration and they seemed to think it was safe to buy the air if you were able to get in online-would love to get a cabin number though...

Just gave WDW Event Services a call and I am definitely confirmed on the ship! WooHoo! I asked about my pre-conference room reservation and was told that they will be contacting me via email with that reservation number soon. I'm still on the wait list for a stateroom for 5 but am elated to have the stateroom for 4 at this point! I did ask if they plan to open up any Ocean View staterooms for those that are on the waitlist and was told that since we (TA earmarked) are not the only ones on the ship, that more than likely, those would not be available to book but that those on the waitlist would get a room if someone from the earmarked conference canceled or didn't pay in time. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for those that are on the waitlist.

I hadn't received a call either so I called this morning. The CM I spoke with said they are way behind because they didn't expect to sell out so quickly. I think as long as you have a registration code number via email from WDW Event Services, then you are fine!!

They started calling from the cruise line yesterday with the confirmation numbers and dining/show times. A stateroom number was not provided to the agency owner. They are calling in order of registration, the date and time is included on your confirmation form when you registered and also on the second confirmation you may have already received that has the confirmation number ('s) for the pre and post-conference resort stay.

Thank you for responding! I am so excited for this cruise. My DD is getting this for Christmas! She is gonna freak out! My DH is super excited! I am really looking forward to the conference....I really enjoy all of the speakers. The ship looks so pretty and I am excited to tour her! Me too. And I want the 7 pm show too. I think main and late can handle 2088 people in the rotation. I think its 696 per location. I don't know the capacity of the Walt Disney Theatre.

Got my call!!!! I am second seating and 7pm show!!!! No stateroom number yet. He said that will come later. Got a reservation number and he said 12/1 we can register kids, book spa, and shore excursions. He also told me no Palo or Remy...we will be able to look at them but not eat there.
We will also be able to check in for cruise at the Contemporary and boarding will be the same as usual as far as times. I think that is it!

Yes I asked about the default to 11C...and was told not to worry, they all say that. We will be in verandah staterooms! So far this department has been so wonderful to deal with! They are a very division and they are all working so hard

We must have all gotten e-mailed to us the confirmations. This is the second one that they sent me looking exactly alike.

I have heard that many on the wait list should get on because some agencies were able to book 25 staterooms but that Disney is now limiting that to 5 per agency. This information I received from two different CM's in the Events Department. We will see if they really do limit it.

I had hoped that would change closer to the cruise but was just recently told it will be like the TA space available reservations and you won't know your stateroom until you get to the port. You know how it goes with Disney though, every day a different story so let's hope that's the case with the stateroom assignments too.

We've already got about 20 families that want to participate in a Fish Extender Exchange. But, since it's on the Dream, the question remains...WILL THERE BE A FISH OUTSIDE OUR STATEROOM DOORS? :confused3 So, if someone from this thread would kindly let us know after your cruise, we would all really appreciate it!!! This is great news Cheryl! I believe our agency was promised 5 staterooms but only 2 of us were able to register (or at least that is what I think happen) I do know that 2 of our agents are on the waitlist!

I received a phone call yesterday from Event services that they were able to grant me a stateroom for 5! I called back this morning to get the 5 person added! Wahoo!

I did ask about when we would know what stateroom we would have and the CM I spoke with indicated that we won't be receiving a call from DCL with our stateroom number etc until the end of Nov to beginning of Dec.

Sorry, been pretty busy. Got my call on October 19th and my follow up e-mail cruise confirmation letter was sent that same day. They have been calling people on the waitlist as agents are having to back out for one reason or another. They also contacted many agencies who had gone crazy with agents registering, some up to 25. They has supposedly limited it to 5 per agency so some on the waitlist have been contacted. Keeping my fingers crossed for our friend here to get off the waitlist.

Did you receive the "rest assured, you are confirmed" email? If you got this, then I think you have nothing to worry about. I have yet to receive a call as well. I'm keeping my fingers crossed or should I say sending pixie dust to those that are on the waitlist!!

everyone is listed as a 11C guarantee. They told me until the docs get printed and released...no one will know our cabin #. I was told to check online Friday and next week for the stateroom numbers to be opened. Then also a "know before you go" email will be sent out late this week or next week...I leave in 16 days. I spoke with event services yesterday, they stated that all agents were given verandah staterooms and that the documents were being sent out 3 weeks prior to the conference which means we should receive them any day now. Your exact stateroom assignment will be on your cruise documents. Can't wait, leave here a week from monday, out of the bitter cold of Maine :woohoo:

Our stateroom assignments were just posted yesterday. Also heard we were to receive a $250 card to cover internet on the ship. I assume that will be per agent not guest. They will also have the usual area set up for internet as in all conferences so that if you run out of the $250.00 you can go there.

On the DCL website it states that the category is 08D, #10070.

I know for me that there was some trouble. When we booked it stated "for agent and up to 4 guests" (thinking 5 to a room), was actually supposed to be max of 4 in a room. My boss and I were on a conference call with Disney for almost an hour because I am taking my husband and 3 kids.They made it available for all of us but possibly in an oceanview room since we were an exception. Does that make any sense??? Either way, I'm thrilled to be going because we didn't think we would w/ the 5 of us.

well I am going to be wearing capri's and a blouse to the conference, as I always freeze in the theater. I am taking 1 dress for Royal Palace, then black dress pants for the others. It looks like the mid 70's in the bahamas....Orlando keeps changing for Saturday so stay tuned. I keep checking weather.com 10 day forecast!
Pirate party....we usually wear some sort of pirate theme shirt...my DD dresses up. This is our 14 Disney Cruise and you will see it all! We have even seen a woman with a "red head" costume from the attraction in MK!
Just get ready for lots of FUN!!!

My wife and a few of my fellow agents are in that session too.

I doubt they will hold Ivana until the end of the last day as a "special guest" - she should be appearing throughout the conference.

The 8GB ipod touch is listed on Apple's site for $229 - if purchased in bulk - especially if Disney and Apple have any special relationship - which I believe they do! - they could easily give one to each conference attendee.

The press probably had similar iPod touches that we had - they were on loan for the duration of the cruise, with tons of info loaded on them for reference, as well as scavenger hunt etc.

We had to return them on the last night.
