Hello all!!!

well this will be my first PTR and im very excited!!! I'm where's_my_prince aka Jasmine i'm 18 and for this trip i will be going to disney with my younger sister! We have been around disney are whole lives living in southern california but we always make each trip like we live 3,000 miles away!

We are only going for one day so we are jam packing it with tons of fun. Buying and trading vinylmation, riding toy story mania non stop, goofys kitchen, and trick or treating!


We are playing to go on a day that has Mickey's Halloween Party so we can go that and do some trick or treating :)

The date we plan on going is October 15th which is a Friday
this is date we want to go because
1) its the day of Mickeys Halloween Party
2) Duffy the Disney Bear will be released the day before in DCA
3)Toy Story Mania will be back
4) Tangled Meet n greets will start that very day!

The days before the trip i will post random disneyland photos to keep the excitement going so stay tuned!

me and my sister LOVE LOVE LOVE vinylmation so we'll be buying plenty throughout the trip, I LOVE nightmare before Xmas so I'll def be picking up a few of these up!

Making Plans
all of my planning goes into this amazing planner that DL use to sell that i bought about 4 years ago. its the cutest thing! its called "my disney dream book"

its a little binder that has tabs for all sorts of thing like reservations, shopping, attractions, shows, restaurants and the paper is super cute!

they even have a spot for photos and character signatures, and slots for tickets, a slot for your pressed pennies, and a felt page to put your trading pins!

hey guys just got back from my job interview and it went very very very well!!!
Based on my personality they are putting me in the spot as a restaurant hostess which is exactly the job i wanted, now though all the positions are open so i have to wait til around mid October for them to call me so i can start working! so excited though because that means as soon as the spots available i'm going to be a Disneyland cast member!!

My job interviewer said the interview is 75% based on your personality and i passed with flying colors so i was excited to hear i had the disney mind set:thumbsup2


so i have that to look forward to after this trip!!
it pained me though to be so close to Disneyland today and not being able to go:sad2:
but ill be there in a few weeks!:cutie:

when i went to DL at the end of July i kept purchases at a minimum which i was proud of:rotfl2:

STORY: everytime im in line for toy story mania i always see guys walking around with 2 or 3 dumbo stuffed animals, and the dumbo's are SOOOOO cute:cutie: , i found out they were winning them from the midway games they have right by toy story mania! so i decided to try my luck . i lost the second time but won the next!!! so it cost me 5 dollars total this totally cute Dumbo that i was so proud of winning!

and the other souvenir was an AP World of Color shirt which i wear all the time now

That reminds me of when I was little I had this stuffed Minnie with removable plastic shoes that I would try to squish my feet in and I would walk around the house with these tiny Minnie shoes on. I LOVED them, less than half my foot fit in the shoes but I guess that prepared me to get used to wearing uncomfortable shoes as long as they are cute! :rotfl2:

Embrace the poofy ;) That's what I say.

If the twilly/poofy part is a separate piece, you just remove the poof, if it's attached to the exterior skirt, you can use a seam cutter (found at your local Joannes). It'll take a lot of patience, but it can be done

ok as we speak i'm uploading alllll of my photos so stay tuned but i'm sooooooo sore and exhausted it might take me awhile lol

so key points about this Trip:

SOOOOOO MUCH FUN, seriously the Halloween thing is sooo worth the money, i wish it was longer i felt like there was so much to do and so little time! i got 98% of everything i wanted done though!! thanks to the fact i was a speed walking demon! lol the shoes i wore were NOT made to be walked in for 8 hours, they were adorable but by the end of the night my feet looked like they belong to a pregnant women LOL
if your going save trick or treating for last, we only trick or treated for the last 45 min and still go TONS of candy!! ( the cast members in Fantasyland are particularly nice and give handfuls)
DUFFY DUFFY DUFFY, let me just apologize in advance because i have TONS of photos with duffy, i am in love with him!
if you don't know duffy is mickeys bear minnie made for him to bring on his travels
if you want TONS of attention from the characters and Cast Members get a duffy bear, they LOVE LOVE LOVE him! you'll see in the pictures they all made a big deal of him!

The Weather sucked. i love cold weather, but it was misty and foggy, which doesnt cooperate with me, so that saddened me:sad2:

at 4:00 party guest's were allowed to enter the park so we got in our costumes and headed over to disneyland

next we decided to grab a bite to eat which of course it the amazing gumbo and clam chowder bread bowels in NOS

we had to eat while standing in line,to get in the line to meet jack skelllington and this is when it started to sprinkle rain! that why alot of my photos look a little foggy cuz the rain was ruining them! but it was worth it jack sounds EXACTLY like he does in the movie!

i really wanted to meet peter pan but jack sparrow was still at pirate wharf and teh CM said they'd be around 11:30, so we had about 15 min, so we decided to go to Fantasy and try to di trick or treating because we had done pretty much none, they gave ALOT of candy especially at Princess Fantasy Faire! and line for princess' was not long at all, and i just HAD to meet belle. Definitley visit the princesses the last hour of the Party!

wow today was very magical!!! i finally got my cast member badge! seriously a dream come true, plus mickey mouse was the one who gave it to me!! right after traditions went right to DCA and used my id to get in free hehe even if it was for just 15 minutes hahaha

wow today was very magical!!! i finally got my cast member badge! seriously a dream come true, plus mickey mouse was the one who gave it to me!! right after traditions went right to DCA and used my id to get in free hehe even if it was for just 15 minutes hahaha

'm back from my half day trip, unfortunately i only got to stay from 8- 230 cuz my friends had practice but it was SO MUCH fun. i was expecting a HUGE crowd today since friday was at full capacity but there was NO ONE there! the longest line for a ride was about 20 min max! even during the day it was just so festive and the christmas decor looked amazing!!!

DUFFY!!!!! he had a blast at this trip!!! he even got a new outfit that he will be saving for WDW! also just a duffy update... HE IS SOLD OUT. they have been sold out for the past 2 weeks!! all they have left is the little pre dressed xmas duffy and the pre dressed 2011 and the "my first duffy" left! and i think this is the longest i've seen his line! my friends were like "oh my gosh he IS really cute" and the group in front us,after they met duffy went right into the store and bought their little girl the "my first duffy" bear!!

From what I heard, ots "One Disney"'s doing, the company that stream lines the parks so they are as close to the same as possible. There is a bunch of stuff that the WDW CM's get that DL CM's don't but One Disney isn't doing anything about that. The CM christmas party dates back to Walt Disney himself, by removing it they are taking away from Walt's ideas IMO. Hopfully they powers that be will wise up and leave it and focus their attention on something that needs it.

oh you know i will! *evil laugh* i hear at one point in the evening they have chocolate covered strawberries in the lounge, i will be right there!

well the actual "duffy" brand doesn't have any pajamas at all:sad2::sad2:,so i look at build a bears clothes (even though i said i wouldn't buy any from there!) but they do have alot of cute girl pajamas! too bad my duffy is a boy =(

Yeah, it was a last minute change in plans that worked out best for me. I've got one more day left! Well, half day. I have to leave at a decent time tomorrow for my 6 (+ with traffic) hour drive home. I'm going to be back at the end of the month though. I just have to wait for that schedule to come out to see what days it will actually be.

Yup! I officially got the time off from my boss yesterday and I will be in SoCal from December 30th to January 4th. No idea what days we are doing DLR yet and what days we aren't, but I am adamant about seeing the fireworks on NYE no matter how crazy it is.

And the photos that I have posted so far from Monday were all taken with a Nikon L22 P&S. It's not the best P&S out there (the focus on it is a bit of a drag as opposed to other P&S I've used recently) but it's not a bad little camera. I have yet to touch the photos with my DSLR.

yes i went to NYE about 4 years ago, alot of fun, DCA is really really fun,they have dance clubs around the park and they give you these little NYE top hats and blow horns,so much fun!

i just got back from the Jimmy Kimmel show...AMAZING!!!!

the studio was ALOT smaller then i thought it would be...probably no more than 125 people could fit , then they have the regular rows in the studio then they had two front rows right in front of the stage where they interview the stars, and they were just picking random parties to sit in them...and me and my friend got picked!!!!!

Christmas Party Trip Report Part 1


hello everyone, i'm finally going to start my Trip Report, first of all i want to say i had an AMAZING (no surprise) time!!! Since the Christmas party didnt start til 6 we went to DCA for the day, and let me say the crowds were AMAZING, there was like no one there!!! right when we got there the first thing i HAD to do was get my mickey snowman popcorn bucket(so cute!) w/ caramel corn ( my favorite!!)

since the only caramel corn stand is near Soarin' we rode rode that since we usually don't because of the long line then we headed over towards paradise pier and saw dale nears bug's land,NO LINE,literally no one was in line!

we waited in line for our usual mezzanine seats and took out our treats . my sister got a peanut butter supreme cookie , a mini mickey turtle,and a snowman cookie.i also got a peanut butter supreme cookie ( SIMPLY AMAZING) and a mickey gingerbread man!

when we enter the gates they immediately give us a wristband and a candy cane, i hoping it was one of those famous DL candy canes but it wasn't hahaha oh well!
the line of security was crazy like three rows of cast members asking to see our wristband we then go get our picture taken in front of the castle\

it was so crazy seeing disneyland so empty when we were there, like we shouldn't be there:rotfl:
usually there's always people crowded around the sword in the stone statue but i finally got my shot!:lmao:

when we entered we got a list of characters that would be around and there locations, on our list was minnie mouse so we headed over to toontown to see her! had to pass by it's small world! so beyond pretty!

in line for minniewe saw SANTA mickey!!! i've only ever seen him in ads and commercials, i couldn't believe it!!!

since a lot of the CM brand their kids toontown was kind of busier then the rest of the park, so we decided to come back later when most of the families with the smaller kids would have gone home (good choice)

now for the CM, alll the food is 35% off including the restaurants! here our some photo's of the food prices, cotton candy and ice cream was also two dollars!! and popcorn a dollar! popcorn::

we then rode big thunder mountain, (walk on)may i say that ride is always so awesome at night, and hint to everybody ride the back part of the train if you can...it goes soooooooo much faster then the front;) we then rode splash mountain which was completely empty! after that we rode indiana jones, which probably was the longest line we waited in...about 15 minutes:goodvibes
they also had the christmas fantasy parade just for the CM party!!!!!!!!!!! this made me SOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY!!!!! it started at 9, we got there exactly at 9:05 and still got a PERFECT front row seat. omg omg omg, i completley forgot how AMAZING that parade was!!!! i want to be a performer in that so bad!

after that we went back to toontown and saw DAISY...how many times do you see Daisy in the parks!!!??? we are literally one family away and she switches out with donald:sad1: that was a serious bummer! but i do like christmas donald!

this trip defintley made me remember how fun fantasyland really is!!! i haven't been on many of these rides in a long time!

ok this is defintiley my favorite part of the whole trip and the most magical to me....i haven't rode dumbo in ATLEAST 12 years , i don't even remember the last time riding it....and i finally got to ride it again...and the only people on the ride were me and my sister! it was SOOOOOOOO AMAZING!!!!

a horrible picture but it's an empty fantasyland through dumbo's point of view...i see why this is one of the most popular rides....it gives you an amazing view of fantasyland!!!! i seriously can't express the joy i felt riding that ride

we are leaving main street and i see chip and dale in their christmas outfits!!!! they are soooooooooooooooooooooooooo adorable!!!
the batteries died in my camera, and chip tried to "revive them" by taking them out of my camera and rubbing them together:love: ,.....it didnt work..but i did get photopass!

the mickey rice krispy's were sooo good! i must say staying at a disney hotel is so much more convenient then driving back home!!! i want to do this forever! well it was time to go to bed, so we put on our pj's and went to sleep

I remember in high school when I worked at Six Flags Magic Mountain how fun the after hours employee parties (yes we were employees) and how much morale was boosted to deal with the holiday crowds afterwards...you just knew the guests would never get to see the park the way you did.

awww thank's , i hope they continue to do the CM christmas parties! there's a rumor they might stop, they don't have it at WDW anymore, but i don't think they'd stop it at DL that's a tradition since Walt was around!

EXACTLY!!!! it's a totally different atmosphere with just CM,i can't explain it...but you know the feeling;)

Those costumes for Duffy are very nice. I just can't stop thinking about Duffy and all those different costumes when I was at WDW last week. All the places around the WDW resort had Duffy stores everywhere and had great costumes.
