We're not DVC member.....yet, but would like to try a stay at either one of the resorts. We would be driving from Indiana, so I'm leaning toward Hilton Head, since it's a little closer. I had some concerns about weather at that time of year as well. What's been your spring break experiences at HH? It would be the end of March? We have 2 daughter, 9 and 7. We love the beach and any planned activities, as well as clothes shopping. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Easter falls during the week of the Heritage Golf Classic at HH. I would expect - in general - the crowds to be heavier during that time. The end of March may be less crowded.

We went the last week in March this year to HH and had a great time. The weather was in the 80's and the crowds around the island were moderate at most.
The same time in 2001 had a temp in the mid 70's.
Either resort you will have a great time. If driving is you concern I would lean toward HH.

I believe Vero is 6-7 hours further than HH, if that makes any difference in your decision. Not that far for better probability of sunny beach weather.
