I just got my D40 which I got used from eBay. All looks well and as described, but I can't try it out because the battery needs a charge, but it won't release with the press and release function :confused3 It is the original EN-EL9 apparently. Are there any secret tricks I am missing?
Before anyone suggests it, I am not the type to stick things into battery chambers etc ;)
Any advice would be appreciated.
