It's a fold-up portable crib for an infant or toddler. Can also be used as a safe enclosed play area.

It's just a portable crib, kinda deep with padded bottom and netting sides. Not really a play-yard at all. :)

I think you have to specifically request one to be brought to your room. Our DDs slept in a pack and play on trips until they were 2+. We always brought our own, with a mattress, because #1: Eww, yuck. They're mostly cloth and not easy to clean, so you're probably sharing the body fluids of some other poopie/pukie baby and #2: Not very comfortable without an added mattress.
That's a FYI for anyone else, since it looks like donaldfan1 would rather sleep in an actual bed or something. :laughing:
