My First PTR

So I have read a few TR and PTR. I thought I would write one also.

Dates October 29- Nov 1

We decided to go to Disneyland for our Honeymoon/Anniversary.:love: We really did not have an honeymoon after we got married there was a lot going on. We are even lucky we got married because 3 months before I was in ICU fighting for my life:sick:. We had a beautiful wedding. If you want you can see it on youtube in the search put jnennapooh.:bride: But we never had a honeymoon because we had to paid for my hospital bill. No insurance really sucks!:mad:

:woohoo:We finally scrapped up the money and we are going the Disneyland:cool1:. We are staying at the PPH. We have 3 day hoppers:yay:. We have reservations as follows:

10/30: orleans cafe @ 11:30
10/31 Rainforest cafe @ 5
11/1 Goofy's @ 7:30am

We will also be going to the MHP on 10/31 since that is our Anniversary:banana:.

My cousin and his girlfriend will be joining us which is not bad I love to hang out with him and we always have a great time. His girlfriend not so much. On our drive home we will be stopping in Solvang as well as Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park. After leaving the state park we will cruise Highway 1 all the way home.:)

I am so excited for this trip and sharing it with you. Any updates or changes I will make as soon as I can.:woohoo:

made ressies for Blue bayou on 10/29 for dinner! I am getting so excited. I also purchased some new tank tops as well as shirts. Got a new pair of flip flops and shoes. I wore my shoes to work today to brake them in. I just need to get some socks, oh and a costume!

MHP tickets showed up in the mail a few weeks ago.

Packing list is completed and packing has started. Just basics that I will not need from now until then.

Do you plan on dressing up for the Halloween party? I think that would be such a blast!!

We are going to dress up for MHP. We have not decided what to be yet but it we have a little bit of time. As for my healthy I am pretty good. As soon as we get back I will give a TR as well as post pictures. I might do a little updating when we are there. Who knows?

Just updating that I purchased a few new shirts and some shoes for the trip. I am getting excited. I did not get much done packing wise over the weekend since my wisdom tooth decided it wanted to come in over the nice holiday weekend.

OUCH!!!! Wisdom teeth are no fun at all, but I hope the shopping helped aleviate some of the pain :) Will you be getting it removed? The tooth I mean, not the shopping :rotfl:

The new clothes came in and I am very pleased. I did get a few things backed. It was a busy weekend so I did not have much time. I really want to have what needs to be packed and will not be needed until then all together and in the bags. I also have my check list.

Next is finalizing the Halloween costume. Still not sure which one I want to wear. It also does not help that I keep looking at other ones. The decision needs to be done by the end of the month. This trip can not get here fast enough.

That plan looks good!! The picnics are for the first show right? If so, you could try to see the fireworks on Friday just in case they get cancelled on Saturday. Im getting so excited, you must be too!! :banana: Happy dance!!

Sow e are getting closer to our trip. I am getting excited. We have yet to offically pick out our costumes but it will be done soon. I have 5 days until I can purchase our WOC picnics for friday night. I am so excited.

I am also going to have a yard sale next weekend. All money goes to this trip. I hope it goes well. I still have a lot of things to go through at the house before the sale.

I also lost 2.2 pounds in the past week. Woooohoooo!

There is still time!! A few alterations to a dress you already have shouldn't take too much time, do you have another seamstress that can help you with it?

my sil said she can help. She knkows how to sew a little. She was going to try to make the dress but I ahve to be the same size as the pattern. That is not going to happen. We will see what we come up with.

Don't worry, a few adjustments will give it some shape and you can adjust it how you want to, so it'll be a super unique dress!! :goodvibes

I did that with my Vampire costume last year and it really does make a difference.

Its an awesome costume and I totally think that some crinoline to "poof" the bottom half will make it look great!!

No actually those are a little small on me and I like to be comfy. I also like the old school look of peach. I went on ebay and bought a pink dress the top is light then fades into a darker pink. I think the crinoline and a sash will make it look correct. I also need to add the jewel. I am going to use felt for that. I will have a picture up as soon as I like me in the dress.

I love homemade costumes!! We're doing homemade ones this year too, I think they look more authentic then the cheap, really thin fabric ones you can buy at walmart and stuff. Looking forward to seeing the costume!!

If I really knew how to sew and had room I would have mae it myself. I was trying to get a handmade one but everyone I know flaked on me. So know I left with what little talent I have and at the mercy of my neighbor who said she would help with what she could.

Im not very good at machine sewing either, hand sewing I can do, but it takes eons to get it done!! Crossing my fingers that your neighbour pulls through!!

I am decent at hand sewing. I know how to use a machine and it would be faster then doing it all by hand. I wish my two jobs would not get in the way of my costume. I guess I am have to cancel on saturday so I can work on my dress.

so since they live n the middle of nowhere, she can not find any pink fabric. So she is going to try and make the tent dress look like a dress I can wear. I also found a laminator to laminate my LGMH. So things are moving in the right direction.

DH got the last piece to his costume last night. So he put on a fashion show for me. His pics are on his facebook.

I hope this all gets done in time. I also have all my clothes packed and ready. Actually the only thing not packed is my meds and my hairbrush. I am so ready for this trip!

After getting everything together and packed up. Collected everyone and brought them to my house. We ate dinner. I really planned on going to bed around 8pm. Psssssshhh that was not going to happen. After picking up my cousin and driving to his gf house to get her. She was not ready. I know she had just gotten off work but she was supposed to be packed. She wasn’t. So after waiting for her to change and pack we were finally on our way to my house to get snacks and pick up pizza. After running those errands we finally get home. I should a piece down my throat and toke a shower. Helped load the car and tried to go to sleep. Did I mention it was 10pm. I wanted to leave between 2-3. I knew it was not going to happen. The boys planned to stay up and play video games and then sleep all the way to Disneyland. I lay in bed and snuggled with my kitty trying to go to sleep. Yep that was not going to happen. My wonderful neighbor who lives above us decided that it was time to go through her stuff and move things around. It would be quiet then bang bang bang, rinse and repeat. I roll over it is not 11:45. ughhhh how am I going to drive and leave early? So I walked outside and screamed at her to stop making noise while people were sleeping. Went back inside and tried to go back to sleep. I few more thuds form her and DH was banging at her door. Did I mention it is his mom? After the quiet and I fell asleep. I would also like to mention that the princess (cousin’s gf) was sleeping at the whole time. I am then awakened by a car and some loud mouth at my door yep my mil. So I look at the clock 3am. I get up, dressed and we hit the road.

I want to say we had a ton of fun on the road trip but well everyone pretty much slept all the way there. The princess slept the most. She would get mad if to much noise was made. I had to remind her we were in a car and she was not the princess. We stopped for gas right before the grapevine. We were almost there. Well at least in my book. All the guys got out stretched there legs and we fueled up the car. Hoped back in and we were off. Next stop Disneyland.

As we got closer I woke everyone up. I wanted them to enjoy reaching the destination as much as I was. Everyone was excited except…. You got it the princess.

We drove up to PP and we unloaded and headed inside. Checked in and checked our stuff in with the bell hop. We took a few pictures by goofy and we headed to DCA to pick up our WOC picnics and FP.

She is in some of the older ones. Mostly Mario kart, Mario Golf, those kinds of games.
