it damaged our siding by making about 10 holes in it. The siding man said that some insurance companies will pay to have the whole side of the house re-sided since the color may have faded.

Has this ever happened to anyone?

Yikes! That's scary. This hasn't happened to us yet, hope it never does. Good luck with the insurance company. I'm so glad no one was hurt. {{{HUGS}}} sweetie
