Last yr I took my canon xti w/ 50 1.8 w/ us to WDW and got great pictures, but this year I want to bring canon 50D w/ 70-300mm and 85.1.8 and 28-75mm. the 70-300mm for some pics with DH and DDs on rides and characters on stage, and 28-75 for wider angles and 85 1.8 w/ 50D combo for high ISO and wide F for my DDs makeovers at MK (those are the shots I cringe looking at from last yr from xti at ISO 1600). But I am NOT lugging my huge DSLR bag w/ all those lenses and cameras every day obviously!

I had a tiny sony W50 I think it was that was my beater camera and it finally died last year after a very long life.
I am thinking of Canon SD1300 or Sony W350 to carry around each day at WDW (and only bring out the big bag to carry around on makeover day); any recommendations on either of those?

ALSO --do you put your DSLR on conveyer at airport security for scanning????

Try the Canon S90 or soon to released S95 for a DSLR-like P&S.

And yes, I put it on the conveyor at security.

We flew with a backpack full of lenses & 2 bodies last year - in Toronto they did a quick secondary inspection of the bag once it passed through the x-ray machine, in Orlando they swabbed it, not much of a hassle at all.
