A creamy, chocolate, hazelnut spread (along the lines of peanut butter, but much, much better).....I am sitting here with a container and a spoon.....life couldn't be better at the moment.

It's really yummy but often a bit sweet for me. I got hooked in Europe.

Now, they sell it here, too, and my own kids love it. We even put it on our flour tortillas, and have a nutella burrito. :)

hmmmm, think I'll stop at the store on the way home today ;)

When I did my study abroad summer in France, my host-mother had Nutella. One morning, she set it on the table and asked if I liked it. She told me she'd bought for a previous American student she'd hosted that year. I tasted it and thought it was pretty good, but I preferred Bonne Maman preserves with my brioche....:D Nutella makes me think of her though!

:earseek: Oh my gosh! If I see that stuff in the grocery store I have to run!! It is soooooooo good! I would just eat it out of the jar. :teeth: :earseek: Who said to try it on strawberries? http://www.wdwinfo.com/sites/family/crying.gif http://www.wdwinfo.com/sites/family/crying.gif I don't know if I can fit into my jeans after this summer, now I have to try strawberries and nutella. Can that be counted as part of the 5 - 8 servings of fruit and vegies a day? :teeth:

OMG!!!! Now that I know how many calories and fat are in this stuff I don't think I can eat it any more....(after today of course ;) my jar is now empty...yikes!) My jar is in Italian so I had no idea the fat content.....OMG! I first discovered Nutella when I moved to Italy the first time in 1992, I used to ship it home to friends and family and they loved it and then a few years ago they started selling the stuff in the states....it was just too good not to share with the world.

I discovered this bread spread in 1969 when visiting relatives in Germany. We spread it on hard rolls and it made for fun eating. Years later, I discovered for sale here.

My kids German teacher introduced they to Nutella and my son enjoyed it while he was in Germany a few years ago. We have just recently found it at Jewel's in our town.
