Can anyone tell me what I did wrong?

I followed the instructions on the tips board about how to upload photos, and I got that part. It was really easy. When I went to post some of them on the resorts board, it just showed the link (with the http, etc., etc.). You can click on them, but I wanted them to just be there, and for people not to have to click on them. Can anyone tell me what I did wrong?

If you click on the icon above the white are where you type, that looks like this..... http://www.disboards.com/images/editor/insertimage.gif a pop up will let you type the web address for your picture. Paste or type in the address and hit OK. It will insert the brackets and IMG for you.

I thank you for your help, but I must still be doing something wrong. I did everything you said, but when I went to preview my post, it just gave me the little box with designs in it. The one you get when the picture won't show up? :confused3

I looked up the post you were talking about and checked out the pictures before I replied the first time. They worked fine before but the links aren't working now. Is the page down where the pics are stored?
