My dh's cousin & her husband are cruising next month for their 50th birthdays. I need gift ideas for their upcoming party. I thought something pertaining to their cruise would be good, but I've never cruised so I thought I would ask the experts!!
TIA!!!;)

How about Disney Dollars they can apply to their shipboard account?
Anything with the cruiseline logo would also be good. But there isn't much of that available through "conventional" channels. Although ebay is always a good bet!

How about putting together a Cruisers Gift Basket? Some ideas:
Fancy suncreens and after sun lotions
Underwater camera
Nice beach towels
Bottle of bubby & 2 champagne flutes to take on board
Water bottles
Photo album for after
You could put it all into a nice big beach bag (like the ones from LL Bean since they are so easy to pack) to keep the theme.
Hope this helps!

You could contact Shirley at The Perfect Gift. She makes custom basket that sound superb. She delivers them to the port so that they are placed in the room by the DCL staff. That way your cousins would be surprised. You can give her some ideas and she can help you figure out more.

You can also order gifts through Disney and a scan of their listing is available on Barb and Tony's website--Platinum Castaway Club: http://www.fortunecity.com/campus/brigham/612//dclbuy.htm

You can also have their room decorated with Happy Birthday Stuff? I believe that it costs about $30-$35. What a nice surprise that would be!!

if you needed something to give at the party, here are a couple of ideas...
disposable waterproof cameras
wine to take on the trip
a travel book about the caribbean, or the specific ports they are going to.
puchase a shore excursion in advance for them
also the disney dollars was an excellent idea!

Not to remind them that they are 50!
