Hello, everyone!

from reading everyone's PJ's & TR's:surfweb: it inspired me to make one of my own. It was helpful seeing everyone's journey and made me realize that even though our wedding date might seem far now, its gonna fly by! & i really would like to have something to look back on through all the good or bad so i figured this is a great idea! :idea:

so i guess i should take it back to where/how it all started (long story short i promise :laughing:) ....

once upon a time, actually 08.26.2005 i met my Fiance through friends that were dating, kind of like a double date/blind date (that i was completely unaware of, but you know how friends are) off the bat i knew there was something very special about him & we automatically clicked. ah chemistry! :love: amazing how it works. soon we were friends, to best friends, to completely, insanely, head over heals in love with one another so 09.18.2005 we made it official & have created the best bond with one another, and each day (even 5 years later) when you think things cant get any better well they do! I feel blessed.

:santa: Christmas of 2009, we decided to go away to Walt Disney World for vacation since we both had the time off work. Words cant express the beauty of Disney on Christmas. We had so much fun! He then learned that Disney is not just for kids, but can bring the kid out of you for sure. Disney also gave every romance a story! a love story :lovestruc & Disney even had a part in my own love story :flower3:

One of the most memorable days of our Christmas vacation & my whole life lol happened Christmas Eve 12.24.2009. My fiance (boyfriend @ the time) decided to set up a spa appointment for us @ the Grand Floridian which that place alone is amazingly beautiful on Christmas. Our hotel that we were staying at didn't have any kind of jacuzzi and we really wanted to just soak in one a bit so that was the plan. When we got there, the lady asked for our names and the weird thing was that my name was the only name down. so the lady said she wanted to take me to the back so i could get ready for my spa treatment. My first reaction was that there was mistake. here we are on our Christmas vacation & im getting a massage while my boyfriend has to sit out there and wait for me. i was soo confused. & then it got uncomfortable. :confused: In my defense let me just explain now before i carry on with the story that i NEVER had a massage before or anything so i wasn't prepared for what they would ask you to do. The Lady then told me to take my clothes off and put this robe on.. originally thinking we were just getting in the jacuzzi together i had my bathing suite on. so i ask the lady, well i have my bathing suite on is that okay? and she was like no just take it off :scared1: that was it. i was like ummmm.. excuse me for a minute i have to talk to my boyfriend real quick. i ran out of the room and found my boyfriend pacing back & forth. I grabbed his hand & was like umm sweetie may i talk to you outside real quick. & We run outside. His face was so confused right now like he wasn't expecting me to come bursting out the doors so soon. We are walking down to the grand floridan beach and he was asking me where i was going. i was like, "Babe! I thought that we were scheduled for a spa appointment TOGETHER!" & he was like "well it was a surprise i just set it up for you to be pampered." I felt bad but was immediately reminded the main reason i ran out of there, i told him, "SHE TOLD ME TO TAKE MY CLOTHES OFF! we need to get out of here before she finds me and takes me back!" ( us girls; soo good at being overly DRAMATIC!) :rotfl:

He grabs my hand confused and we start walking AWAY from the spa area onto the grand Floridian beach. after a couple seconds of silence his reply was, "Well it would been nice to just say yes..."
& me on my defense was like, "it would be nice if i said yes to what? taken my clothes off!?" & he grabbed my hand & he was like "no no no silly." got on one knee & said, "It would be nice if you would say yes to this question im about to ask you" (around this time i felt like the world just went still, silent, & completely S L O W motion.) He reached into his pocket and a box with the most gorgeous ring that Sparkled even in the night! & he asked me, "will you marry me?"

I FLIPPED OUTTTT!!! OF COURSE MY ANSWER WAS YESSS! i was sooo happy and such in shock that my dream was coming true and that my best friend was asking my hand in marriage (in Walt Disney World ;)) it was so romantic just me & him on a beautiful night on the beach side. Originally i messed up his proposal plan, he was gonna come in as i was being pampered and ask me then. BUTTT to me this was a 100000000000 times better and romantic and I'm glad that it happened this way wouldn't want it any other way.


fast forward; we loved Disney & wanted a Disney wedding but knew it might of been an issue to have people from our family go to FL since we reside in NJ. But one day after stressing on planning a NJ wedding my parents got together and suggested that we do a cruise wedding. I was really excited for their idea and knew exactly how exactly and what cruise exactly i wanted to get married on. THE DISNEY CRUISE! we were planning to have our honey moon @ disney any way since we had the best time ever so it worked. everything worked out perfect. our original wedding date was set for 08.26.2011 and our cruise is on 08.25.2011 and our actual wedding take place the next day 08.26.2011! i felt like it was a sign that the cruise dates matched up soo well to what we originally planned. :yay: i tell ya its crazy how EVERYTHING works out & now we are planning our wedding aboard the new Disney Dream cruise & we cant wait!!! :sail:

my engagement ring (took this pic while on the bus to downtown disney to see cirque du soleil. i was so amazed and happy calling everyone i knew about our engagement. it was cute cause the family across from us was just smiling remembering the time they were in our shoes)

So the best communication tool i have used yet for my guest coming to our wedding is our wedding website! I love it, every week i try to update my website with information to help my guest out with traveling, hotel stays, wedding/cruise information, & even a little introductory on our history & life together.

Hopefully by the end of this month we will have our save the dates done. its going to be fun, creative, DIY project. {wish us luck :wizard:} lol i am really excited about it and cant wait to have them done but i know they will take awhile. I thought about sending out invitations... but its pointless since a invitation is to invite your guests and my guests already know all the information and booked. So going with just the Save the dates seem appropriate enough {plus it saves a buck or two :thumbsup2}

Yesterday I had a physical i had to go through for a new job & the doctor took my weight... & i couldn't believe it! I weigh 24 more pounds since i first met my DF :scared1: I understand that I was only 17 when i first met my DF so I've grown into my 'womenly" figure .. but WOW :confused: I told my DF & he just called it Happy weight :love2: which is true. so since i want to look amazing in my wedding dress and not be self conscious while I'm laying in my bathing suite on Castaway Cay, I've set a goal to at least loose 10-15 pounds & keep it off till the wedding day. Wish me luck.. im gonna need to stay motivated.

Thanks guys! i think im gonna still run a bit and do some tightening up. Most of my weight has dropped to my waist and hip area .. figures! :lmao: the dress is an a-line dress so it covers up my flaws nicely ;) it doesnt help that my fiance is an AMAZING cook i cannot resist his delicious food. then my daily day with work consists of me sitting on my behind all day behind a desk so the lack of any kind of work out has its effects, eventually.

so if you been following me on my pj here you can probably tell that im in the process of finding "the dress" my 1st love was the casa blanca 1992 ... she was a simple yet pretty dress. then online i ran into the maggie sottero monalisa royal... it looked just like a princess dress.. and who wouldnt want to be a princess on their disney wedding day? so i went to this amazing bridal shop thats like 10 minutes away from me .. let me tell you, their customer service and prices were great! i tried on a total of 5 dresses including the monalisa.. the monalisa was a beautiful dress.. but it did NOTHING for me. I ended up trying on maggie sotteros Jenna now this is a dress i normally would of never thought twice about trying on but... O M G :lovestruc:love::lovestruc:love: AMAZING~~ i didnt want to take it off. i felt so confident and beautiful. I lovveeeeeee it. I even dreamed about it last night!! plus for have a cruise wedding for some reason i felt like it was so appropriate! so im buying it @ the end of this month to catch a great deal for 20 percent off :yay::yay: so i can confidently say... This is me in my wedding dress for my disney wedding cruise!

yep. i ordered my dress the day before thanksgiving. they had this amazing thanksgiving sale i couldnt pass it up lol. i also purchased my veil as well which i got a phone call today saying that it's in! so exciting. im thinking the cermony starts around 4 ish so anytime before then. i say ill be atleast dressed by 3:30 .. hopefully lol

The Flowers i went with were the tropical bouquet with the coordinating boutonniere. I really love how this bouquet looks and it gives it a tropical feeling which i love!

I have chose the contemporary round cake style. Choosing a flavor and filling was the tough part. But i really feel like I went with the "better safe then sorry" and got the Vanilla flavor cake with Chocolate Truffle Mousse. We decided to go with the complementary cake topper as well. It's so cute!

This was really fun figuring out what kind of music i would like to be played at the wedding. I knew right away that i did not want the traditional wedding music. So we have decided to have the Palo night in celebration on the 1st night after being "legally" married in florida. Besides we didn't want to loose out on the night with the whole family the night of the wedding so this worked out perfectly.

So as a disney cruise bride the photography was a picky subject a lot of ups and downs with reviews.. we decided to go ahead and put our trust in the disney photographers on the ship. I have learned from past DCL brides that i need to meet with the photographer, see how he takes photos, and i even am coming up with a check list of all the shots that i would love to have.. maybe ill go as far as printing some inspirational must have pics that i found online :surfweb: haha lol that actually sounds like a great idea! :rotfl2:

We live in New Jersey so i was really nervous on how about we were going to get our wedding license. I am getting our wedding licenses from the Brevard County Clerk of court in FL. I went online and printed out the request for the application and mailed it out. exactly 60 days from our wedding we received an email from the court house with our wedding license application!! im so excited i cannot wait to fill them out and have them ready to go. So far i have had no problem :) ::Knock on wood::

So shanda has been so nice to give me the wedding ceremony script so that i could see where i would like to add our own personal touches. Boy am i glad i got to see what the script looked like it was basically like, "bing,Bang,boom - you are now husband and wife" :rotfl: lol ohh no so here is my edited wedding ceremony script of our own personal touches.

Love your decisions!! I'm struggling with the songs and cake flavors. I was actually happier with the old ones :). We are giving the photographers a try too. It's sounds like things are improving, but I am going in with some examples!!!

I was struggling with the cake flavors too and then i thought about all the other things i had to worry about and i just made a simple decision with going with the vanilla and chocolate :)

The photos to me are improving! i deff. think its what you make of it and if you come prepared.

This evening Me and the future husband to be with my dad & family went and picked out the grooms suit & the groomsmen suits. I am soo excited to finally have pieced together the grooms outfit. I am sooo excited to say that Our Disneymoon is completely paid off!! whoo this is such a great feeling knowing that I got another thing accomplished for the wedding. We are having our honeymoon of course at Walt Disney World for a week once we get off the cruise. We are doing the park hoppers & the dining plan. Also for our first night the hubby had ordered a romantic celebration package from the disney florist for our room which i am super excited about! :cloud9: I know planning a disney vacation needs a lot of planning on top of planning a disney wedding i feel like im in planning overload :laundy: buttt all of it has been so much fun and i love thinking about what i will be doing and how everything will be during our honeymoon and wedding. My future hubby also got me The Complete Walt Disney World 2011 book which is like a Walt Disney World Bible!! :lmao: i seriously recommend this book for anyone who is planning a vacation there. it is so helpful and fun to read.

These will be the boutonniere that the bestman, groomsmen, & father of the bride will be wearing for the wedding. It is a tropical flower (fake of course) and the colors will match my maid of honors dress and the jr. bridemaid sash. In the middle of the flower i plan to do my on DIY easy project of added a tiny starfish to the center of the flower to bring out the seaside of the the theme out.

so yesterday i receive a call from brevard county saying that there was missing paper work that i needed to fill out and have sent in but it was a mistake on their behalf they didnt include the paper in the email that they have sent me. So just for all the brides going through brevard make sure that they give you 4 sheets of papers that need to be filled and 2 of the 4 need to notarized (the application & the 'not of same sex') 1 is the directions, and the other 1 only obtains to you if you have children in the state of Florida.

My little sister is my Junior bridesmaid.. she was the flower girl but she has convinced me that she is not a baby any more and wants to be a junior bridemaid. the only problem was that we have already bought her dress as the 'flower girl' and it wasnt the cheapest dress either.. (the dress was also used for her communion so i guess it paid for itself by getting two big uses out of it.) We are adding a coral sash to her dress to tie in my dress and the MOH dress. the dress looks ivory in the picture but its actually white. either way she will look beautiful princess:

I have already attached the flowers that i have chosen from the planning package but the picture was kind of small. Being that i just ordered my Maid of Honors flowers & the Junior Bridesmaids flowers (which are matching) i wanted to show you a better picture of my flowers with the flowers i chose for the girls. They are silk flowers i got from online. that cost me less the $40.00. I could not see myself spending almost $200 + for the flowers offered by disney even though they are beautiful.

Your dress is BREATHTAKING! I am so excited to follow along with a DCL wedding bc we truly considered one, but my mom's fear of water made it impossible. I LOVE everything you've chosen so far. I just wanted to tell you that when I was close to your little sister's age, I was a junior bridesmaid and the flower girl and I had the same dresses because the bridesmaids' dresses were a more adult style, so don't worry about it! :)
