switching resorts

we are staying 4 nights at POFQ and then five nights at the poly, without a car what's the easiest way to get our baggage moved? also the day that we switch we have CRT at 9:05, can we get an early checkin or just send DH and DS to take care of that after breakfast?

The resorts will switch your luggage for you. Just have your bags packed the morning you check out. Call the front desk and tell them you are changing resorts. They will pick up and transfer your luggage for you. When you get to the Polynesian, you will probably have to call bell services to send the luggage to your room. You can request and early check in, but I'd just go to breakfast then head to the Polynesian to check in. Hope this helps!

BTW, Disney makes the switch very easy and hassle free!

Thanks, that does help alot. That way after breakfast my DH can just hop on the monorail, check-in, and then meet up with us again in the park

We switched no problem....and we got to the Poly early - around 9.30am I think. They gave us a room upgrade - Lagoon View - so that we could get straight into our room!

Switching is very easy...you just call int he am to have your luggage sent to the next resort. We would just head to the parks and when we were ready for an afternoon break, we'd go to the new resort. We never made a special trip to the second resort just to check in. Everything always went smoothly.

Thanks for all the info. I'll psrob. still send DH over after breakfast since we don't usually take breaks, the fall hours are short already (6pm), maybe we'll get lucky and a room will be ready. Only 19 days to go- can't wait!
