What is the kitchen sink??

After reading some posts from Connections users they mention only needing one thing for beaches & cream (never eaten there) because the kitchen sink always dose them in?? What an how much is this sink? Thanks

The kitchen sink is a big silver bowl that is a mini kitchen sink and in it they put 2 scoops of every flavour of ice cream, every topping, every type of sprinkle and then cover it with a WHOLE can of squirty whip cream - it's huge and only what I can imagine to be very sickly but it is a huge challenge to some families - I have yet to see a family of 4 finish it !!

It costs $21.99.

WOW i dont think the silver bowl or rather'kitchen sink" is for us but thanks for answering my question. Ill stick with dole whips and shirry triffels. But that sounds like enough sugar to do in 4 familys of 4 :) Yikes!!

we just got back from B&C. used 2 vouchers:

2 prime rib sandwichs
2 smoothies
1 kitchen sink (3 of us, no where near finished)
1 banana split to go (we stay at OKW and have a freezer)

wasn't allowed to order sides (ie chili, salad) since sandwiches came with fries or fruit.

The kitchen sink is amazing! it did get gooey

Thanks soo much for the pcture another case where words just didnt do it justice. My DD saw the picture and now we will be trying this next trip. I just hope its soon!! Im so home sick for WDW i know we were there in May and last DEC but i dont know with no trip in the planning stages you guys have cheared me up hearing and seeeing your stories, and now i must research this voture thing never have tried those either. One more note on the infamous "kitchen sink"...when they serve you, they actually dim the lights in the restaurant to get everyone's attention and then announce that your table is about to attempt to eat that monstrous concoction.;) We tried it for the first time in July (we were a party of four--my 13 year old daughter, my parents and my pregnant self!) They do serve it with small bowls, so you can all scoop your own portion into an individual bowl. And for the record, NO, we DID NOT finish it, but had a great experience trying!:cool:

I was searching this board for ideas on where to have dessert next month. My DH and his brother are connoisseurs of ice cream, so this has got to be it! Last time DH and I ate here was a while ago and it was a LOOONG wait for a table. Can you make PS for Beaches and Cream?

No PS taken - it's strictly walk-up. I called Disney last week hoping to make PS for B&C.

Aw- you can do it! We just got back from WDW and we (family of 3) finished it in 33 minutes! I have to say, I have never experienced eating ice cream I really didn't want before that. Also, if you have a flavor you really hate, you can ask them to substitute. For example, I hate peanut butter, so they substituted another topping for the peanut butter sauce. Just be warned, they include mint chocolate chip ice cream, so if you don't like that, ask them to substitute. Neither my son nor I like it at all, so we were kind of gagging it down, but we did it!

I will never forget the time my hubby and I were there for our usual ice cream fix. A young couple (about 20ish) came in. The kitchen sink was brought to their table. We thought it was for the two of them. Well it was for one since they brought a sundae out for the girl!!!!!!!!!!!!! I guess he was trying to impress his date!!!!!!!!!!!! And he ate the whole thing!!!!!!!!!!!
