An Eisner DVC cutback?

I received in the mail today a letter regarding the price increase per point to $75. The funny thing is that on the front of the envelope in big blue letters were the words:

"Important Memembership Information"

Have they cut out the proofreaders? This one was a tough one to miss in my opinion!

Actually, I have noticed quite a few things being mailed by different people/business containing typos. Yes, I may make typos here in this casual forum, but you can be dead sure I proof read anything that goes out from my office.

There was a typo in the last Vacation Magic with the cruise prices. In my office, we routinely pass around important correspondence for others to proofread. What you might not see will stick out like a sore thumb to someone else. Spell check doesn't catch everything, but it should have caught Memember! :rolleyes:

I received the same exact letter twice - once late last week and another one today! I guess they really want me to add on before the price increase... Maybe it's just us folks in Connecticut Mark & Joe (hello fellow Milford DVCer)

I memember when it korrect spelling was important.

While watching the news the other night, our local station threw up some text on the screen that included the word "NEICE" instead of niece. And finally, as far as proofreading goes, on our visit to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame a couple of days ago, my wife noticed that there was a sign that said that "We Are The World" raised $50 for African hunger relief. Wow, fifty whole dollars! We pointed that one out to an employee who promised to let an "archivist" know. :)

I just received a letter this week announcing the grand opening of VWL, and telling me that now's the perfect time to join DVC! I guess they don't even memember that I bought in last year!
