Please I need help with my Olympus Camera

Hi. Can anyone please help me with my camera. I have a Olympus SP-510UZ camera and for some reason it is having problems reading the Olympus M+ 2GB memory card. When I put in a old Olympus M (no plus) 1GB memory card it reads it fine. I have the latest firmware on my camera. I have tried 4 different Olympus M+ 2GB brand new memory cards all from different stores so I know they all can not be defective. I have even cleaned the cards with alcohol. The Olympus company said the camera should support the M+ card. Does anyone know why this is happening? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.:confused3

Have you tried formatting the card in the camera before trying to use it?

Also you can try formatting it in your computer, but make sure to choose FAT16, not sure if you can do FAT12 on the 2g Cards. You might put in your 1G card and see how it's formatted and copy those settings.
