Just to get this board going...

Where are you staying or where did you stay on your last trip? Why?

DH and I are staying at POR in a king room. We've requested a river view at a mansion. I wanted to go Deluxe, but DH didn't want to spend the money. I am not disappointed, though, I think this will be very nice.

This trip coming up in Dec. we are staying at ASMo because we are more budgeted and DH hasn't had the AS experience :D

We stayed at POR on our last trip in Feb......I LOVE that resort. It is my favorite (we've stayed there 4 times now)....lovely grounds that make for very peaceful evening walks. And the boat to DTD is wonderful.

We're staying at BCV! I really love that location & being able to walk to Epcot and MGM.

Our last trip we stayed at VWL, which I fell in love with. We also stayed at CSR, which was nice, but not as magical as VWL. We ended up that trip at Vero Beach, which is another fantastic resort.

Last trip in May we stayed at the Yacht Club in a standard room. I was completely bowled over the whole resort I'd always wanted to stay there and my dream came true - it was the first time I'd ever stayed on-site.

Going back to WDW on a solo trip for 11 nights in December and staying at the Swan which I'm also excited about - I really love the Epcot resorts.

DBF and I are also going back sometime next year but haven't decided where I would like to try a night at the AKL, GF or the Poly but otherwise and Epcot resort again would do me fine - funds providing ;)

Staying at All Star Music in Oct. ... requested the Jazz Inn because I read in the guidebook it's the most romantic of the budget resorts. I hope so!

We will be splitting our Decmber trip between AKL (2 nights) and YC (5 nights)! I can't wait! AKL is DH's dream, and my dream is an Epcot resort!

We are staying at All-star movies in March.:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc
We have stayed at Movies one other time. We also stayed at Music 2x. Stayed off-site once. We love all-star. Best value for your money. We don't spend that much time in the room so it is kind of a waste for us to try a deluxe. However, if it ever comes time to plan a honeymoon, my dream would be to stay at GF.

Next trip in early December will be a split this time. First 4 nights over at Royal Pacific then 4 at ASMu. Dec is always a solo and ASMu is just fine for me.

went in May stayed at Marriott Grande Vista (going back in September here) - July the Polyn and VWL, in October AKL and OKW, in December - OKW, VWL, All Stars, BWV.

stayed last year in POR twice March and May - I really love it - if I haven't joined DVC I probably would stay there much more often.

I have never stayed at a All Star resort before - will I hate it?

DH & I are staying at the Vistana Resort. We like a lot of room and couldn't stand a single hotel room for 10 days. Plus, we're both horrible sleepers, so this way one can watch TV without disturbing the other one. :D

For our trip the beginning of December we are staying at All-star Music. Couldn't resist the price of $49 per night. We were going to stay there all 6 nights but decided to splurge and do Animal Kingdom Lodge (savanah view) for 3 nights. Can't wait!!
We are vacation members and usually stay at OKW, 2 bedroom but that's when we have our 2 kids with us. But when it's just the 2 of us the All-stars are fine. We love having the food court near by and the unlimited refills with the purchase of the refillable mugs. Beth

this Dec. my DW and I will be celebrating our 10 th anniversary at CR. We booked this about 9 months ago and were not aware that the SOG was closed and they were putting all of those people at CR. I hope that doesnot make the CR too crowded to enjoy the great restaraunts.

In February, we stayed at POR and loved it. Particularly if you're situated toward the back of the hotel, I think it's really great for adults because it's so quiet and beautiful. I am taking a mini-trip next week (an extra leg added to a business trip that was already planned). We contemplated doing POR again, but got POFQ for a slightly lower rate and, since it's the sister resort, decided to give it a go.

Wife & I are going from 10/24 thru 10/29. We are staying at the Swan for the umteenth time. Going again from 12/6 through 12/10 & taking daughter and our future son-in-law. Again staying at the Swan. We were able to get teacher rate ($129/night) for both stays. We have stayed at either the Dolphin or Swan last 5 years and go 2 to 3 times a year. The General Manager won the annual award for best Manager. There is a reason for that. The hotel & "service"-employees are great.

Last time we stayed at Poly Concierge because we thought it would be nice and tropical... well turns out we had a few problems and so for the last 2 days of our trip we got moved to AKL concierge... it was more incredible than I could have ever imagined :)

Hubby and I are staying at the Courtyard by Marriott 9/28 & 9/29, then transfering to the YC on 9/30-10/7. This is the first time I've been to WDW since 1971! We had a family vacation at WDW the first summer it opened and only the Magic Kingdom was there. I recal riding the Peter Pan ride, It's a small world and that's about it. I do remember that the Hall of Presidents was still being built, so I know I'm in for a big surprise!:Pinkbounc Hubby was there in the late 80's with his daughter. Only 4 more days! See you there!:Pinkbounc

I just changed my plans today to add an extra night. I had two choices--spend that extra night in Newark, NJ or at WDW. Tough choice, huh?

So I've got a split stay for father-in-law, husband and me. We have one night at All Stars Music, four nights at PO Riverside, four night cruise on WONDER and two nights back at PO Riverside.

December is always my favorite time to go "home" to WDW. I'm glad I'll have so much time!
