With all of the B&W photos from that era, sometimes its easy to forget that the world actually was in color in 1939.

I've been scanning my grandfather's photos and they go back to 1946. It's a blast seeing the world back then - to say nothing of seeing photos of my 2-year-old father reading a book in his crib! The Kodachromes of the '40s era seem to have held up very well - as the formulations changed, different colors would fade at different rates.

This one isn't quite as old... but is somewhat appropriate for this board. Here's my grandparents in 1956, standing in an orange grove in Orlando, FL... maybe where WDW sits today? :confused3
