We´re on this one,too.It will be the 4 Cruise for my sister and me.

We were able to look at her from an observation Deck in Dock 6.
Aquaduck seems to be in place,but still wrapped up.As far as we could see all Staterooms are put in place.Life Boats still missing but might be installed once she leaves the dock which will be Oct.30.The passage through the Emsriver is scheduled for Nov.13,if weather and tide are ok.I would love to go again and see her completed but am not sure if I´m able to.It´s a 2 1/2 hour drive.
They had a model of the Inside Stateroom with the virtuell Porthole and we have booked one of those,seems to be a good choice,it looks cute.

Just booked this sailing for my family...minus my DD11, who doesn't want to miss more school (we are going to WDW in 2 wks) and thinks boats are scary. It is my 30th bday present (bday 4/10/11). Can't wait to see the Dream.
We really wanted a longer cruise, but the 4 day is priced way too high! Planning to book onboard for a 7nighter on the Fantasy in 2012...but couldn't wait until 2012 to cruise again!

Excitedly checking in to this roll call! We are anxiously awaiting this Disney Dream May 5th sailing. We have previously sailed twice on the Wonder ~ one of the trips was my honeymoon.

Our party consists of my parents (celebrating my mom's May15th birthday), my husband and I (celebrating our May 27th anniversary), and our darling 12-yo son.

I will be signing up on the FE list just as soon as I pull my mom and my cabin #'s together.

We can't wait and I will continue to check in to this board frequently.

Hi and Welcome! I also get really seasick and didn't have a problem at all when we cruised on the Wonder in Jan 2010. I did wear the wristbands the first day/night and I had Bonine for naseau which I never ended up taking. I think we had pretty calm seas even though I do remember the first night when we were walking up the stairs in the theater, I was a little wobbly but so was another lady. She said it looked like she was drunk but hadn't drank anything! But even with that movement, I still never felt sick. I would come prepared with anti-naseau meds and maybe the wrist bands and anything else that may help and hopefully you won't need any of them. (me too!);)

(DS can't be in the sun for hours on end) :banana: but either way we are super excited that it's only 2 months away!!!!!!!!

I know what you mean! The cabanas would be perfect, but if not we've already been scouting for places in the shade. (looks like there is a covered seating area near cookies and a few shops too) Plus with so much to do on the ship I know the kids will be excited either way!

However my dear sweet friend has been checking every day and we finally had an opening! :banana: This is my friends 8th, 9th, or 10th cruise and my 4th cruise. We usually do "Girls Only" cruises but not this year. I am bring my two children who do not know yet. This is all they have talked about since hearing me talk about the new ship. Everyday they are asking if this summer they get to go on the Disney Cruise! I really want to find an exciting way to tell them but I don't want to wait till we set sail. I want them to be as excited as we are and get to help in making the door decorations and all. By the way is it to late for us to participate in the FE? If not I will send the details.

When I checked in online the first available time was 11-11:30 but I don't think I'll be able to chill in the hotel until then so we're getting there around 9:45-10ish and just be prepared to wait for awhile and hope for a low boarding #.

We have the same check-in time, but I think we´ll arrive earlier as well.. :banana:

I am so excited I just found the DCL Disboard. I know I am a little slow but I have been living on the Fariytale Wedding Blogs for the past year. We are very excited as We are getting married on the May 5th Dream cruise. I can't wait. Everyone keeps asking me if I am excited about the wedding. The truth is I am a little more excited about being on the Dream. BUT (SHHHH) don't tell my fiance LOL. Our entire party consists of 13 people. I am tooooo excited AND you can't miss us, we just had our shirts finished. HE HE HE!!! I can't wait. Have I said that enough. So excited to meet you all.

Congratulations on your wedding,you will have a wonderful time.
Friends of us got married on a 7 night Western cruise on the Magic in 2008 and it was magical.Captain Tom made a great speech,and we all shared excellent Champagne and a nice cake before having Dinner at Palos.It was only the 4 of us,but that didn´t matter.Where on the ship are you having your ceremony?On the Magic we used the secret deck 7.
Oh,and one tip(I´m not sure you know this,so forgive me)they had the legal ceremony around 3 on the Embarkation day in front of the Walt DIsney Theater.
No one knew this,so the happy couple was wearing the most uglys travel clothes and my sister and I missed it.
Those pictures look weird,the official in a Suit and 2 Officers in Galauniform as witnesses.And bride and groom in Shorts and Tanktop,no Make-up and undone hair(not really pretty).
So you migth wanna prepare a bit.
We make sure to say hello when we see you onboard.

First thanks .. second I found the Cheat sheet. And finally I started a wedding blog on here with all of our pictures and stuff. This is very cool.

Also, We are not able to get legally married here in the state of Florida, thus we are getting married on April 23, 2011 in Connecticut. IE = D23 - can you tell we are Disney NUTS!

We are also spending our Honeymoon at WDW - till May 15 along with doing the D23 Scavenger Hunt! YIPPIE!!!!

I haven't received my docs either. I'm actually a home based travel agent and I check with Disney today and they mailed them out on 3/31. I called my agency today and they had them and will mail them out on Monday. So it's very possible that your TA may have them or just received them.

And to be honest, the cruise already feels SO SHORT that I don't want to have one more commitment. We plan on swimming in the afternoon while the boat is still at PC. Yes we were able to grab one... Thank goodness! My little boy can't be in the sun for very long, and with my medication I'm not supposed to be out in the sun either :) We are just hoping it's not too far of a walk to lunch or to the stingray excursion we have booked. :)

I don't know about stingray but I heard it is right by cabanas2 (the place with the food)...

Nope, they still think we are cruising at the end of September...lol. I had to think of a reason that we would all be leaving home on May 5th wearing matching tshirts, so I'm telling them that we are going to have our pictures taken at a portrait studio....hahahahaha!:lmao:

Okay everyone.....we officially leave 7 days from now!! We finally broke down and booked the Residence Inn for our night before. I tried priceline numerous times but wasn't successful. In Jan 2010, I was able to get the Country Inn & Suites for $50.00 a night pre-cruise but who cares because we're leaving in a week!!!:woohoo::woohoo:
