Can anyone share what HH is like at Christmas time? Is it too cold to swim even with heated pools? Is it a worthwhile trip for a family of 4 with boys 10 & 12? Would love to hear info from anyone who has gone!

We were there the week before Thanksgiving (Nov) last year. It was cool. We used the hot tub by the pool and there were children swimming in the pool during the middle of the day. They had the heater off at the pool at the beachhouse. I wouldn't go at Christmas for the weather or swimming. If you get an above average temperature week, it might be ok.

I have been going to Hilton Head Island since I was 8 years old. My parents have a Time Share in Shipyard Plantation.

As for the weather... It is typically in the 50's, but on a good week in the 60's.

If you go... have a super trip!
