The kids are driving me crazy

I love my kids but they need to go back to school. They are driving me crazy. They are fighting all of the time and they need something to do.

I need to be able to clean my house without a) someone still sleeping b) turning up the TV while I'm running the sweeper and c) no one whining because god forbid I asked them to take out the garbage.

I know that in a few weeks I will be complaining about all of the homework and all of the games I have to go to but right now just leave me alone!!

I love being off in the summers and I know that this is the best thing for my kids but I just need to get out without them.

I feel your pain! Although my 3 are quiet and playing right now (crossing fingers). It stinks to wish away the summer when they're fighting!

I know the feeling, Sharbear. There's a lady I work with that asked me the other day why everyone was excited about their kids going back to school.:rolleyes: She's 28 and no kids yet (I don't think she's been around them too much either). I told her kids get bored in the summertime and try to drive their parents crazy. Something they do quite well.


My kids have been back for 2 weeks now. Thank goodness!

I feel your pain! This week was awful. The boys were bored and were complaining, fighting, you name it. They drove me NUTS! Thankfully, school started today.
