I read a post a while ago about the D/S replacing bed
matresses in thier resort.
Swan first, then Dolphin.
I was wondering if all the rooms of the Swan and Dolphin
are getting the new Heavenly matresses ?
Does anyone know when this will be completed by ?
Thanks and sweet dreams :)

Are the Heavenly Beds just a Starwood thing or a Westin thing? I didn't realize both were getting them.
Ah.....Heavenly Beds!

Heavenly beds are just a Westin thing...
The WDW Swan is Westin, Dolphin is Sheraton. From recent pictures I've seen it doesn't look like the WDW Swan has got Heavenly beds yet, maybe a call to the hotel would be in order?
Here's a link that tells you where you can find those gorgeous Heavenly beds:

Just when IS the Swan/Dolphin going to refurbish their rooms????
I know this was planned for last year BUT after 9/11 it looks like they don't want to spend the money yet on such an expensive project
HOWEVER, just like last year, I'm still hearing very negative reports about the room quality (smell of mold,etc...) The last person I talked to about it stayed just a few weeks back with a convention. I know it takes money to make improvements but if the hotels get a bad reputation, the word will get around and they will start to lose their profitable convention bookings.
Until those rooms are updated/ refurbished I know I won't be staying there again even with the discounts.
Come on Swan/Dolphin, time to take care of business!

The Dolphin is our favorite hotel, and we've never noticed a mold smell, or anything else bad! Our latest stay was in May, and our room was wonderful as usual! :D
We're staying at the Swan for the first time, in December. I hope the room is as great as our Dolphin rooms have been! :Pinkbounc

Our room at the Dolphin in February (room #6025) appeared to be recently renovated meaning; the wallpaper appeared to be brand new, as did the carpeting. The furniture was free from knicks and dents. The grout in the bathroom was all one color and free from black mold or dirt. I don't know about the other rooms, but ours was excellent! And the view we had from the balcony of Epcot was awesome!
The only in need of improvement was the mattresses. I've read that the Swan and Dolphin are supposed to be replacing their mattresses w/Heavenly Beds, and I think I read here on the DIS that the club level rooms have the Heavenly Beds already.

I will be arriving at the Dolphin this Sunday for a week and I checked in advance about the Heavenly Beds. I was told that the Dolphin doesn't have them yet. :(

The Dolphin is a Sheraton resort, which means it should not be getting the heavenly beds at all.
The Swan is a Westin resort, which means hopefully they'll cough up the money and refurbish their rooms, including Heavenly beds.
Heavenly beds are a Westin thing, not a Sheraton thing.

Could someone tell me alittle about this mattress. I need a new one at home, my old one is just SOOOOOO bad. Being I'm looking around for one, if this is a GREAT one maybe I'll look into getting one. I never stayed at the S/D so I only know about the mattress from the posters.
