please help me understand this. i read and re-read our new dvc benefit book on saturday. it was my understanding that you can book up to 11 months in advance for your "home"resort, like BWV which is ours and either 6 or 7 months to stay somewhere else (i.e., OKW, or a resort hotel). If i read it correctly under the disney collection which the hotels are under, it now says you can book up to 11 months in advance! somebody please read this and give me your interpretation. if that is correct, then they need to have the points for 2002 for the resort hotels posted because i could make my reservations for next april soon. PLEASE HELP!!! THANKS!!!

The 11 month/7 month provision applies to the DVC resorts. If you want to go outside the DVC resorts (ie other Disney hotels and the Cruiseline) you can book 11 months out.

11 months for non-DVC resorts is correct. The 2002 point charts are not yet available (neither are the 2002 cash rates thru CRO), but you can still make the reservation- and the point difference, if any, will be applied later.
Most years, there has been little or no change in the WDW resort points, but the cruise line has had changes.
