My family will be on the September 14-21 Western Cruise and have been told we will be receiving an Onboard Credit of 150.00 through DVC. We got all our documents about 2 weeks ago and there is no mention of this credit in anything. I am wondering if anyone else has gotten a CREDIT from DVC and if so when did you have it???? Was it in your documents or in your Stateroom??? I have posted this on the Cruise Board also and haven't got an answer yet thought I would give this board a try and see if anyone else knows anything.....Thanks

You will receive notification of your shipboard credit in your stateroom upon your arrival. It is not mentioned in your cruise documents, or anywhere else. :)

Okay,
I am taking the December 7th Cruise. I am a DVC member and a DC member and have been told there is no credit to be given. I booked with points.????
So what's up????????

I just got off the Disney Magic :Pinkbounc And I got the $100 on-board credit. But, from what I understand, DVC members will not longer get on board credits :( . They only way to get an on board credit is to book with cash while on a Disney Cruise. DVC Members will get a discount on their points if they book early, for July the discount was only 6 points a person, but that does add up for a family for 4 :) .
Don't know if I like the change or not. With the 11 month window, it's hard to book on the cruise, however, she did seem to want to work with us. But, I decided against another July cruise.

David, I think maybe the dates have something to do with the CREDITS. I am sailing in September it was a fall special, less points also you are sailing in December.....I think that even at WDW the rates are higher at that time of year so I am sure it would be the same with the cruise line. Maybe that is the difference.

We are discussing the selected cruises in September which the DVC offered a special shipboard credit with.
You cannot use other shipboard credit programs, such as Disney Club when booking with points thru DVC MS. Sorry. :(

I think that the only reason we get this one is for Fall Fantasy.
I got the $150 last Nov and will get it this Sept 21. It really doesn't have to do so much with DVC as Fall Fantasy dates.
Anita.
