I found that out also when I requested it for our Feb. cruise. The CM asked me about it and I explained all three dining rotations to him and he was quite impressed and said he learned something new!!!

Now he would always remember what PLAP means

HOW FUNNY!

PLA rotation is great in the fact that you have tropical night in Parrot Cay and one of the formal nights in Lumiere's.

I am not one to enjoy dressing up too much and I actually found LAP rotation to work out best for us! The first night in L was embarkation day and it was casual in all of the dining rooms including Lumiere's. The next night in L was tropical night and also casual. The atmosphere is made to feel very tropical with island music and decorations that I didn 't even mind being in L for tropical night. Our last night in L was the final evening of the cruise. Our luggage had to be gotten ready to place in the hallway so our servers told us to dress casually again! Here I was all worried over getting put in L for THREE nights and having to dress up too much -- and it was probably the LEAST amount of dressing up required.

I was told that since we have to small kids (5.5 & 4), that we will probably have the APL rotation. I am confused on one thing. Is it APLAPLA? Or is the last night different, not following the sequence? We also don't want to dress up much, and when I count the above rotation, we need to dress up 3 times, plus Palos (unless we go to Palos on one of the special nights). I want to have all possible scenerios figured out ahead of time, so that I know my preferences.

Remember that "L" is replaced with "T" on the Wonder because Lumière's is called Triton's on the Wonder.
