1st trip to Boardwalk..WOW!!!!

we just got back from our first trip as DVC members to the Boardwalk. All I can say is WOW!!! It was so beautiful. We had a 1 bedroom standard view overlooking the parking lot. We could see the high fireworks at Epcot. The last night, we stayed in a studio to save on points. It overlooked the Boardwalk...a really great view!! I didn't know how much I would like this place. I am an avid Caribbean Beach fan and I didn't know if I would like the Boardwalk as much. Well, I am now a Boardwalk fan. The one bedroom was so great..I loved the jacuzzi, the fact that I could do laundry etc.
I was nervous about going Easter week. Yes, it was busy but we didn't wait more than 10 minutes for each ride. Take advantage of Early Entry and do Fast Pass. It was wonderful!!
We toured the Wilderness Lodge Villas and the Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Glad you had a great trip!!! You did well with ride wait times. I have heard stories of heavy crowds this past week.

Hi OhioMickey, I thought the Wilderness Lodge Villas were beautiful. I think you will be very pleased. You will love the 1 bedroom!
Yes, there were heavy crowds but because of the fastpass we didn't have to wait. I saw some people standing in lines for over an hour. I don't know why they didn't use fastpass.

DVCdudes, the buses were great. At the most, we waited 10 minutes. There are no buses to Epcot or MGM so for the early entry days it is faster to walk.
