I found a rate of $59 for this property - but I can't remember anyone else having stayed there. So I just thought I'd check - don't want to take the deal if it's a real dive...
Any feedback would be appreciated:)

Hi, I have not stayed at this property..
however, for $60 a nite you could get an Allstars room with a AAA discount or mousesavers code.
There are many 3* hotels in the Lake Buena Vista area that are probably nicer for the same $$.
Try quikbook.com, hotel kingdom.com and mousesavers.com for codes.
Good luck, Herc.

Thanks for the suggestion. We're actually splitting our stay between the Universal area and WDW. I got a discounted rate at the Dolphin. We were looking for a cheap suite type hotel closer to Universal so we could save money on meals and snacks...

Hi, good idea to split your stay...I have done that several times and probably will continue to split for most trips.
Suggestions for Universal are the Hawthorn suites Universal and Amerisuites Universal, which both have free bkfst.
The Hawthorn suites are "true" suites and I have noticed the Universal location is frequently on special on the hawthorn website for about $70 for the 1 br.
I have toured the hawthorn suites local hotel in my hometown, and they are really nice and spacious.

Thanks for the tip! I have ressies for Amerisuites Universal for $79 night. Right now the Hawthorn is around $90 so I'm going to keep watching for specials.
