VERO BEACH in May? Crowded?

Hi everyone.

DH and I considering a trip to VB in May--after Memorial Day and into the 1st week of June. What do you think the crowds will be like? Has anyone ever vacationed there during this time?

I figured after the holiday weekend, it should get better but I didn't know how that first week of June would be.

Any input would be GREATLY appreciated!! Thanks!

If you can arrange to be there in the week, as opposed to the weekend, it seems less crowded, even in the summer (and less for points).
