I've been all over these boards for months and have gone back and forth about starting a PJ. I'm not really a writer and have always preferred to take a test than write a paper. I've seen so many brides get great advice and think a PJ is an awesome way to chronicle your planning and wedding so I'm breaking down and starting one.

Now a little about us....

Bride: I'm 25 years old and work as a pediatric emergency department nurse.

Groom: He's 25 too, actually he's 8 days older than me, and he works as an Athletic Trainer for a high school. In case you're wondering Athletic Trainers are the people you see running on to the field during a game when someone gets hurt. He'll probably be going back to PT school after the wedding. Wow his intro is so much better than mine...I must live a boring life.

Anyway, we met at Penn State our sophomore year and we were both Athletic Training majors. We didn't start dating until our Junior year since he was a taken man our whole Sophmore year. Both our families are HUGE Penn State fans and we all bleed blue and white. Right after college I went to nursing school in Philly for a year and he started grad school at Delaware. Well now we're finally done with school for now and found some time to get married. :yay:

Engagement Story: The DF and I visited Disney World together this past February. I've been obsessed with Disney all my life and wanted to take him down there since he hadn't been since he was really young. While we were in Disney I kept seeing bridal parties around the parks and told my DF that I REALLY wanted to get married in Disney. He responded by saying yea we can look into it, it sounds really cool. I immediatetly told him to not respond with any form of yes if he had no intention of really exploring the possibility because I would run with it. Now we weren't engaged at this point, but apparently the ring was ordered and was trying to figure out how to propose. I took a lot of video of Wishes and he decided right then that he was going to use that video to propose after we got home.

Now for the actual proposal. Wilimington, DE has a St. Patrick's Day celebration every year on a Saturday in March. It's an awesome day with a parade in the morning and then nuns tap kegs at St. Patricks church. It's all you can drink until the kegs are kicked. Then the day continues with a bar tour through Wilmington. My sister, MOH, lives in Wilmington and her and her husband were in on the engagement. It was a rainy day so we were wearing crap clothes with ridiculous fake eye lashes and boppers They knew it was happening that night once my DF got down after work sometime that evening. All day I heard from both of them, you need to eat because you have to last ALL day. I thought nothing of this since we do this every year and it's always so much fun. The DF arrived around dinner and my sister made up some excuse to run and errand with her husband. I was already well on my way at this point so I was oblivious. The DF called me upstairs and showed me a video he made of the Wishes fireworks with a bunch of pictures of us in Disney, with the end asking me to marry him. Of course I said yes and immediatley called my sister to yell at her for letting me put the ridiculous eye lashes on earlier that day.

First Engagement pic, eyelashes and all

Wedding Planning

Of course I immediately started looking into having a Disney wedding and to be fair I did look into having a wedding at home. Both my extended family and my DF's extended family are pretty big and it's an invite one you invite them all. So it was either going to be a 150+ at home wedding or less then 100 person Disney wedding. Then I found out you could have a brunch reception in Disney, along with mickey waffles, for a lot cheaper per person than anywhere in Philly and I was sold. It took a little more convincing for the DF and my family, but they're now all really excited about Disney.

We've booked our ceremony at the Germany Pavilion because the DF's family is all German and then a brunch reception immediately following at LSS on June 19th, 2011. We were assigned Ken Weaver as our wedding planner and planning things since.

At the Germany Pavilion, I think it's so cute

I got my dress before we even booked the wedding since I had to wait until 12 months out. I know it was a bit early but it was the only thing I could get excited for before we could sign the LOA. My sister and I went out to a few stores and tried on a bunch of dresses. She fell in love with a Romona Keveza dress, I put it on my maybe list but thought it was a little bit heavy. I was really looking for an A-line, light weight dress that was super comfortable and didn't feel constricted in. So on one of my days off I was checking out some stores and saw that a store in Philly was having a Romona Keveza trunk show. I called the store and asked if they had the dress my sister loved and figured I should try it on again, since something about it was so great. Well, when I had it on it really wasn't doing anything for me. Even though I was by myself, I tried on a few more dresses since I was already there. I told the consultant what I wanted in the dress and she pulled THE dress. When I put it on I immediately thought, well I don't need to try on anymore and that was it.

I really like this dress because it's so light I can wave it around with one hand and it's so comfortable. I also really like that you can't see any zippers or buttons. I had tried on a dress similar to this at another store but didn't like it because it had buttons all the way down the back. The flower part pulls over and hooks on like a bra so it hids the zipper area...I LOVE IT!!

Thanks for all the compliments!! Everyone is so nice on these boards :goodvibes.

The dress is listed as ivory. The lighting in the dressing room was terrible. I should have taken some pictures out in the main room with the natural light. In the natural light it actually looked lighter than the typical ivory I've tried on.

So I'm not starting to get nervous about my guest count and budget. More of our families and are telling us they want to come and how excited they are. I've already had to cut out a LOT of our friends because our families are so big. Now that more people are saying yes, I'm getting nervous for the capacity limit of 104 at LSS. The big reason I got my DF to say yes to a Disney wedding was because of the LSS so changing venues is out. My ideal guest count is LESS then 90 and I'm really hoping it gets down to that. We had to invite 124 with the fams being so big. I just have to remind myself that people are going to back out when push comes to shove and it will all work out.

I've come up with things that are important to me and not....
Important - Music with at least a DJ, we love to dance
Pictures, I really wants pictures in Epcot before the ceremony
Open Bar with beer, wine, mimosas and bloody mary's
Delicious food, I love brunch and not worried about Disney food
Good chairs for pics during the ceremony
Not Important - Special transportation
cocktail hour
extravegant welcome party
over the top decorations

Budget ideas I have are...

Riding bus to the ceremony, I don't care about a limo and who sees me before the wedding, they're going to see at some time. As long as there's air conditioning I don't care.

Cutting the pre-reception and doing pics with the bridal party before the ceremony. It won't be as hot and we can get right to the reception. Since it's going to be a brunch, do you really need a cocktail hour breakfast?

Having BOC bar and having mimosas and bloody mary's as signature drinks. Will the champagne end up being too expensive??

I would really love to have a dessert party but it doesn't look in the cards. We are planning on just going back to Epcot a couple ours after the reception and drinking around the world. Anyone is welcome to join. Downfall - no wedding dress in Epcot :(

Rehearsal dinner for immediate family and bridal party. Welcome gathering at resort poolside with some finger foods or pizza. Anyone is welcome to stop by who's interested.

I'd like to do simple centerpieces that are small. Since the tables at the LSS are pretty small anyway so anything too big would take over the table. I'm not really particular about flowers and don't even know if I want flowers anyway. I heard of other people renting snowglobes from Disney as their centerpieces and was just wondering if anyone knew how much they were.

Two teir cake with supplemental sheet cake. I really like the Mad Hatter cake and my DF likes Mickey's Delight

That's all I can think of now. If anyone else has any suggestions I welcome ALL ideas!

I found a site that has prices for everything from flowers to reception halls at Disney...

It helped me budget better because I know about how much everything is going to cost (since the prices change every year!).

I think that it is really smart of you to put together that list of what is and is not important to you. That will really help you to plan your day and keep your budget in check. I think that you have some really great ideas! I am also unable to have a dessert party (due to budget reasons) so we have played around with a few ideas, and I am okay with not having one. Your EPCOT drinking around the world idea sounds great! You could always wear a pair of bridal ears so you still stand out!

I'm really excited for the drinking around the world. :yay: I'm hoping we won't be too exhausted by then because I think I'm going to want my wedding day to last forever.

I'm going to have to go into my PS with a strict budget in mind and see what I can get with that. If we end doing the cocktail hour I'd really like to take the fruit and stuff from the buffet for the cocktail hour.

I completely forgot to post my ring with my engagement story post. For some reason these pics come up small on when I post from this computer. I'll post more later,

I've worked out our room block the best that I could. We decided on 3 different resorts, All- Star Movies, Caribbean Beach and Beach Club. I found out later it would probably be better to only have 2 resorts with the transportation options for the wedding, but I'm not sure if anyone will even stay at Caribbean. I'm still going to do my best to get the transportation cost as low as possible.

I booked our rooms and we'll be staying at 3 different places. I know it seems a bit much, but I've been through all different combinations and this worked out the best. We'll be checking into All-Star Movies the Friday before the wedding with me, DF and MOH. Then DF will stay at Movies for Saturday, the night before the wedding. MOH and I will move to Beach Club on Saturday and DF will join me Sunday, night of the wedding. Then Monday morning we'll move to the Beach Club Villas for our honeymoon. :yay: We booked a studio at the villas since it will only be two of us and we don't need that much extra space. I'm glad to have the room part out of the way so we can start planning the exciting stuff. :goodvibes

The STD's were sent out by Disney and some arrived to our guests today!! I think they look great. I know that you really can't personalize the STD's Disney does but I think they are really pretty and the less I have to do the less stressed I am. I'm not really a creative person and haven't really come up with a perfect vision for my wedding. I love how the envelopes and folders are iridescent. I'm so excited for my family to start going to the website and exploring around.

I've started writing a newsletter and my plan is once people start getting back to me about wanting to go, I'll send a newsletter to them. The newsletter is a more detailed breakdown of the events, hotels and Disney itself. It's pretty much written and now a friend of my sister's is making it look good. I can't wait to see the final product.

We've scheduled our Planning Session on February 11th for the afternoon session! It will only be 4 months out from our wedding so I'm hoping that won't be too late. We couldn't schedule it any earlier because it would have been the middle of winter sports season. DF didn't want to take time off so I'm a little stressed. He's also desperate to go to the Harry Potter park so I think we're going to squeeze that into this trip so we don't have to leave Disney during our HM! I'm planning on having fun in the parks and relaxing by the pool for the HM.

I'd really like to walk through the Germany Pavilion again and see the LSS to get a better picture of how things will be set up. Do I need to request a site visit seperate from my PS?

I wanted to invitations to got out pretty early. A friend of mine is doing the invitations so I think we'll have everything set up to print and see if there are any last minute changes made during the PS. Then when we get back we can hopefully have everything printed and ready to be sent by the end of February. How early did everyone send their invites? I'm hoping that most people won't wait until the invite to book, but I know they will. I would really like to get a final count of everyone 2 months out from the wedding.

I feel like it will be a marathon after getting back from the PS because I really can't finalize anything until then.

You do need to request a site visit separately, or at least mention it to your planner. I was told for my planning session that LSS might possibly be booked so while I will still get to do my tasting at Epcot, I may not get to see LSS.

My wedding is February 12th at LSS, maybe you can sneak in :) My PS is in September, which is 5 months before the date and I am slightly stressed about it but have been reassured that everything will be fine.

I am sending out my invites around Halloween. I know that that is considered early, but that way I can have a final guest count right around Christmas. I think 4 months ahead is completely fine when it comes to a destination wedding.

I've had some boring posts so I figured I should post some pics to liven it up a bit. I didn't put any engagement ring pics in my first post and put some really small ones in a previous post. So here are some good size ones. It's a sapphire. All of our college friends say it's a Penn State ring which I think is great. My favorite color is blue anyway.

Please ignore the wrinkles in my hand.

I've been searching around for flats for my shoes. The DF and I are the same height so I need flats for the wedding and I'll will be a lot more comfortable in flats. I've found a few options, but haven't really committed. I was out and found these flats and love them. My favorite color is blue and I had planned on wearing blue jewelry. The only problem is my left foot is a half size larger than my right, so I have to try to stretch the left. If it doesn't work the shoes will be going back and it's onto the search again. I'm posting 2 pics...one shows them really dark and the other shows them lighter. The true color is really in between the 2 shades but I just can't seem to get the right lighting for the pic.

Now for the jewelry...I've been obsessed with the earrings Drew Barrymore wears in her lash blast fusion ad. I want to wear ones similar to hers just in a blue shade. I've found a few options on Esty...but I want to make sure they're really sparkly. I'm throwing around the idea of making my own as long as I can find the perfect crystal. There is a store local to my house that sells stuff like that but I have yet to get myself there. Anyway, here's a pic of the ad with the earrings.

So we've been through the cake CD and narrowed it down to 2 or 3 cakes. We like the mad hatter, mickey's delight and the coral cake. The coral cake is in the running because I think it looks really cool and our reception in the LSS. We really don't have a theme for the rest of the wedding and I feel like my ideas are everywhere. As you know we're on a budget and we'll probably be having a 2 tier cake with supplemental sheet cake. Luckily the 3 cakes we like seem like some of the cheapest ones. Unless I'm reading the outline totally wrong.

The cake topper that I had originally been thinking of were the mickey heads. I love how this bride did her mickey heads and was thinking of doing something similar with a Germany and Ireland flag. (sorry I don't know who you are but I LOVE your cake topper) Since we're having the ceremony at the Germany pavilion I thought going with the country theme was appropriate. This would probably only work on the top of the mad hatter cake.

http://i251.photobucket.com/albums/gg299/carlylane131/Disney%20Brides/scottish_canadian.jpg

With the coral cake it doesn't seem like I'll need a topper at all. Do you think since I'm not having an under the sea theme I shouldn't go with the coral cake? Would it seem like I just picked the cake out of no where? I need some opinions here.

Love all your pictures! Your engagement ring is really pretty ... I love how the ring has all the pave stones -- very vintage! And sapphires are my birthstone, so I'm partial to them. :thumbsup2

I'm jealous that you can wear flats for your ceremony ... my dh is over a foot taller than me, so I *have* to go with heels for our VR. ;)

And I think the coral cake would be very nice at LSS, especially if you don't have any other kind of "theme" going on. It's really appropriate for the venue. :)

Thanks for the cake input and the compliment pixie921!! The DF really likes the coral cake and love how excited he is about the cakes. I'll pick whichever one he wants and I think the coral cake looks really cool in the pictures.

I didn't really realize you had to schedule your portrait sessions way in advance until recently. I guess I just really wasn't paying attention. I was thinking we would just schedule it during our PS if it was in the budget, but Jenn informed me that we could just cancel later if we really couldn't make it work.

Since the ceremony will be in Epcot we've decided trying to schedule a DHS session. The DF's favorite park is Epcot with DHS a VERY close second. I've looked around for other bride's portrait sessions in DHS and there are very few. The pics I've seen I really like and I think DHS is a really cool place to get pics done. I've seen that lighting can be an issue in the park, but the session will be right at the start of the summer. Which happen to be the longest days of the year!! :cool1:

Since the ceremony will be in Epcot we've decided trying to schedule a DHS session. The DF's favorite park is Epcot with DHS a VERY close second. I've looked around for other bride's portrait sessions in DHS and there are very few. The pics I've seen I really like and I think DHS is a really cool place to get pics done. I've seen that lighting can be an issue in the park, but the session will be right at the start of the summer. Which happen to be the longest days of the year!! :cool1:

Really? I didn't realise that either... Maybe I should book mine too :lmao:

I want MK and Epcot, which I think are the most common, I love looking at the DHS and AK shoots, because they are completely different view points to what you're used to seeing.

Hey BecBennett! Yea, can't remember where exactly I saw scheduling it early is a good idea. I think it may have been someone's PJ....they were talking about scheduling about 10 months out and they were having trouble picking dates since there were other's scheduled. So I emailed my planner and they said yes if we're thinking about doing a session we should submit dates soon.

I found a site that has prices for everything from flowers to reception halls at Disney...
http://www.********************/ftw/wdw/index.html

It helped me budget better because I know about how much everything is going to cost (since the prices change every year!).

Good Luck!

The site wouldn't works and I don't think she was able to PM the link. If I get the message I will definitely pass it along! I understand...knowing the prices would be a huge help. I've been going through other PJ's to see everyone's BEO's and there's a thread on here that's titled Post your BEO that I've been looking through.

The shoes were a completely random find at DSW on the sale rack. They're Steve Madden and I think the style is called Heavenly. There are other colors out so maybe the blue will come back around!

Things are looking good and your ring is beautiful! I will be really excited to see your pictures if you do get them done in DHS...heck I will be excited to see them no matter what! The shoes are cute...I love maddens-I have a few that I wear frequently!

I also agree that the coral cake would fit in great with LSS...what a great way to tie in the venue!

Can't wait for more updates!popcorn::

I've been working on my newsletter for most of the summer and I think it's finally coming together. The text part of it is done and it's been sent off to a friend of mine to design the rest. I'm hoping to have them out to everyone that is at least planning on coming by the end of August. I'll post them as soon as I get the file back.

My friend designed the invitations too and they look great! Well they're not completely finished but I love them so far. As soon as I figure out how to post the image I will. Since my PS is only 4 months out from the wedding I want to have my invitations ready and printed within a couple weeks of my PS. I want them out to everyone before March and RSVPs back by the beginning of April. The earlier I get them out the earlier the RSVP so we'll see. Let me work on seeing how to post a pdf file.

We've listened to the CD that Disney sent and I know that I want all Disney music played during the pre-ceremony and probably even during the processional. Anyone have any good suggestions? I also can't decide what musicians I want, violinist, harpist, flute?

I know they suggest that you need a PA system with more than 20 or so guests at an outdoor ceremony and I think the cost is a bit much. Has anyone had experience with this and do I really need one?

I just purchased the Mickey and Friends cartridge for the Cricut on SUPER sale and was planning on making Mickey head programs with it. My friend has a Cricut and was willing to let me use it, but I've heard that you need a cricut expressions to get the cut out to be big enough for the the program. If that's the case I've seen another bride use the Creative Memories circle cutter and raved about it. I may just end up buying that to make the programs. Then use the cartridge for some other things for the wedding.

I'm thinking about doing silhouettes of Disney characters for the table names. Then do candy tents as place cards and double as favors. The front would have the table names and the back with a little thank you know. I'll stuff some bags of candy in the tent for the favors. Although having the silhoeuettes as table names may be a bit annoying if people start dropping out at the last minute and I've already made their place card. Then have to move other people around. In that case I would probably just use a stamp to do the table number. Then use the silhoeuttes to decorate the table numbers. Here's a pic of the candy tent. I stole from another PJ and it would obviously be a wedding theme.

The candy tents are cute, and are a great way of combining both the favour and place cards.

With the WP you get an organist. Personally though I don't like organs :confused3 if I was to splash out I'd get a harpist. I :lovestruc harpists!! However I'm probably going with an Ipod, just so I can have the songs that I want sound exactly how I want them to sound.

Another PA Disney bride!!!

I love your idea for the table cards/favors. With the Cricut, since you can cut the silhouette in any size from 1/4" to 12" you could use a bigger silhouette for the table number and then put a smaller cut of the same image, or a corresponding image, on the escort card.

The first draft of the newsletter is done!! My friend did an awesome job with the layout and graphics....I love it! I never could have made it look this good. Actually the font and style of it is pretty similar to our invitations so that makes me even more excited for them! There are a few typos in it and I'm pretty embarrassed by my writing. I stole a lot from some other brides that have posted their letters. Writing has never been my strong suit and I hope I don't get in some trouble for copying. If you think it will be an issue for me please tell me to take this post down after reading.

I could have added a lot more about the parks and hotels. I was going to add in our favorite places in each park and more detail about the hotels. Then my sister pointed out that our families will probably get bored by reading so much and just leave in the really important stuff. I can send another one closer to the wedding or even in the welcome folder about each park and more fun stuff.

Never thought I would love back to school time because I hate when the summer is ending...but now I'm loving the sales. I'm trying to figure out what else I'm going to need to purchase now.

I got a circle cutter to make an attempt at making some mickey head programs...we'll see how it goes :confused3 I'm thinking positive!

I'm hoping to get the newsletter printed and ready to go and sent by the end of next week. I'm on night shift for the week. So I'll be sleeping during normal hours and not being very productive for the rest of the week.

Wow I feel like I'm rambling on...oh and I ended up returning my blue flats. I was out DSW this past weekend and was trying on random shoes. I put on one pair that wouldn't work for the wedding but were SOOOO comfortable. I was reminded of how comfortable my shoes really should be for the wedding so the blue ones went back!!! I've been looking around for places to have the Rehearsal Dinner and we've decided on Raglan Road in DTD. Since we're having the ceremony at Germany for the DF I wanted to add some Irish to the wedding too. I contacted Raglan Road and they were so nice and acccomadating. I told them I'd have between 18-24 people but didn't know about the exact number until closer to the wedding. They said that was totally fine and and we are booked for June 18th at 5:00. There is a 2 hour limit for each reservation which is typical for any restaurant. I've worked at a few and some even only slot for 1.5 hour reservations.

They gave me an option of offering the full menu or they will print up limited menus with Congratulations to Meredith and Matt at the top if we decide on one. I think we'll probably end up doing that. We are planning on going to DTD when we're down for PS since we didn't have enough time on our last trip. The DF has never been to DTD or the Boardwalk so we'll be doing that instead of the parks this time. We'll stop in to Raglan Road too.

I booked our room reservation for our PS and we're staying at Pop Century for February 11-13th. Our PS is Friday afternoon and then we have late dinner reservations at Ohana. We got the room only discount they just released a couple weeks ago. I'm now waiting for airfare prices to drop a bit.

I think I've come up with a theme for the wedding. I think we're going to go along the lines of "your ticket to the world". Since the ceremony is going to be at the Germany Pavilion and then we're going back to Epcot to drink around the world that night. Also, our invitations have an old Disney ticket feel.

My thought is to name the tables different countries. Since the tables only seat 6 at the LSS they're smaller then most tables. I'm thinking I can use the flags of each country as the main piece of the table. I'm probably not describing this very well. I just don't know how exactly I'm going to display the flag. Any ideas?

I tweeked some passports from the DISign boards for anyone that is coming back to Epcot after the wedding! :cool1: They're not totally done yet but I will post once I think they look good enough.

Haven't updated on here in a while so I thought I'd post a couple things. We were assigned Amy Reindeau as our new planner and I had a phone conference with her earlier this week. She sounds awesome and I'm really excited to work with her. We talked about our ideas for the wedding. I told her the things that are important to me, like live musicians for the ceremony and a DJ and things that I really don't care about, like special transportation. I threw out trying to stick to a budget and it sounded like we could make things work. We also pushed my planning session start time up a bit so we could fit in a menu tasting  Matt and I have to go through the menus and fill out what we want to try

I've been trying to work on the planning packet and now the menu checklist but I feel like there is so much time between now and my PS in February. Oh and I got a checklist to for sitdown and buffet meal. I thought we were only allowed to have a buffet at the Living Seas so I'm assuming I only fill out the buffet checklist. Any thoughts?

As for other news I'm heading down to Washington DC this weekend with my sister to meet up with my other bridesmaid and go shopping. :yay: I don't even have colors picked out yet. I don't even think they're going to get matching dresses. I really don't care if they match or even if they are the same color. I told them I want to find a dress they love and it will work out great. I'm excited to just shop and go out to eat! I haven't seen my other bridesmaid for a couple years even though we g-chat all the time. She's been so involved in the planning I can't wait to see her.

So we had a successful shopping weekend and found bridesmaid dresses :cheer2: We ended up getting a purple chiffon dress from Nordstrom. I told my sister and my friend they didn't have to get the same dress but they ultimately decided they wanted the same dress. I think the dress looks great on both of them. We shopped ALL day and ended up with the first dresses they tried on! We had such an awesome weekend it makes me sad that my friend lives over 3 hours away from me.

We all hate the belt on the dress so they're going to look for belts or embellished sashes that look better. Maybe add a splash of color in there like yellow or something. The dress is also really lightweight and airy so it should be cool enough for the hot FL summer.

Sorry the picture from the website is really huge.

I haven't update on here for about a month and figured I should check back. When people ask about my plans, I tell them things are moving along and just pretty much waiting for the PS. The conversation always end with them telling me time will fly and the wedding will be here before I know it. All I can think in my head at that point is "WHEN" when is time going to start to fly? I feel like these months have just been crawling by and I'm really not doing anything. Oh well, I should just be ecstatic that I'm engaged and getting married in Disney!

Anyway, now for an actual update. I ordered flowers for the wedding party and parents. They are going to be fake and I had ordered some samples prior to ordering the package and I really liked them. The flowers are going to be purple orchids and white plumerias. Every person that I show pictures from the website to think they look real until I tell them they're fake. As long as they look great in pictures isn't that what really counts? And this way I'll be able to use them for our DHS shoot 2 days after the wedding without having to worry about a refresh. The amount of money I'm saving on flowers is pretty much paying for the DHS shoot too!:banana::banana: They should be in by the beginning of December, and I will post pics as soon as I get them.

I got the website from searching the boards and found a bride who went with the same lady for her flowers. The bride's picture is actually on the website and her flowers looked beautiful. It didn't seem like she had any complaints about her flowers so I went with it. The website is

I've been stressing about our room reservations all weekend and my family isn't really much of a help since they really have no idea how Disney works. So where else to get better advice than from the boards!! I'm going to try to not make this confusing but right now my thoughts are all jumbled together. :confused3:confused3

So more of our families are booking for the wedding and even more talking about booking. The surprising part is they're ALL booking Caribbean Beach. I really thought they were all going to go for the cheapest option and book All-Star but they're all really excited about Caribbean Beach. So this totally throws a wrench in our room reservations.

We are booked at All-Star the first night we're down there and then the girls and I are moving over the Beach club while Matt stays at All-Star the night before the wedding. I thought that Matt would be there with the rest of our families to get ready for the wedding but it's seems like he'll pretty much be there by himself! Now my thought is to book our rooms at Caribbean Beach with everyone else. I was excited about getting ready for the wedding at the Beach Club, but the more I think about it I think it'll be more inconvenient. Reasons being....

- my mom is staying at CB but needs her hair and makeup done...it'll be annoying to get her over to the Beach Club so early in the morning since the wedding is at 9

- Transportation for the whole wedding party will be easier if we're all at CB the morning of

- Everyone getting ready in the same place less of a chance of forgetting things

I guess I just feel like I need more encouragement that it's a better idea to get ready with everyone at CB and I won't be missing too much by not getting ready at the Beach Club. I'm talking with Jessica, my reservation person, today about changing our rooms.

Do you like the look of CB for photos? Remember you'll probably get a few taken there.

Other then that, I'd probably move over to the same resort too, it would be less hassle, and it would mean DF isn't all by himself the night before the wedding.

Think CB looks nice and I'd be happy with some pics there. I think I'm willing to make it all work just for the convenience of having everyone there.

We went ahead and changed our reservations so we'll all be at CB. I actually feel like there's a huge burden off my shoulders and I'm much more relaxed about the whole room situation. I just booked my parents for 3 nights at CB. They're all set and Matt's parents are planning on booking before the new year! Things are moving along...I'm just waiting for time to move faster!:yay:

My flowers are in!! I'm in love with them.:banana: I got them from the Plumerias Boutique online and I'll have to ship them down to FL when the time comes. For now they're sitting in vases and ziploc bags in an extra room to keep the dust away. I got flowers for the whole bridal party and parents. The bridesmaid bouquets are just a smaller version of mine. With a flash the flowers look much more purple but without they're more fuschia I guess. I think they look awesome either way :yay:

We now officially have 6 months to go until the wedding!!:banana::woohoo::woohoo:

We are sitting in the San Francisco airport on a lay over. We're coming back from our friend's wedding. It was so beautiful and I miss her already. At the end of her wedding we were joking about how six months from now we'll be drinking around the world!!

So I booked our ADR's for our honeymoon and I got the major ones we really wanted to do.:woohoo::woohoo: This is the first time I've booked for the whole length of a vacation and I hope I've planned our days somewhat well. So we have...

Monday: open...I think we'll head to the Brewery Works on the Boardwalk. They don't take reservations and we love trying micro brew beer

Tuesday: La Hacienda for dinner

Wednesday: Le Cellier for dinner

Thursday: Whispering Canyon for lunch

Friday: California Grill for dinner

Saturday: Biergarten for dinner

Sunday: Sci-fi cafe for lunch

Monday: O'Hana for breakfast

I booked a lot of dinners at Epcot since we love Epcot so much and it's within walking distance of our resort. We plan on getting up to visit the parks in the morning and then take a break in the afternoon. I booked early dinners for after our break to take advantage of the AC longer and then go out to the parks again after dinner. We have from free days in there to do whatever and those of pretty much the days we'll be eating at Epcot. I may cancel the O'Hana breakfast because we're going during our PS and I don't think I'm going to want to get up early on our last day, checkout and then head over to the Poly from the Beach Club for breakfast. I may change that res to Cape May Cafe and just do whatever that morning.

Now that the holidays are over I'm trying to get back in to the wedding spirit. We sent in our planning packet and menu checklist and I have a list to get done before our PS.

I met with my sister's friend who is making our invitations last night and they turned out better than I imagined  The plan is to mail them out by Feb 28th and RSVP by April 1st. We decided on green envelopes, off white paper and purple response envelopes. I don't want to spend the extra money for calligrapher because they're just going to throw the invites away once they're done with them. So instead she is going to do labels, and she does a cool wraparound label for the return address stuff.

Has anyone done Disney stamps for their invites? I'm not looking to spend a lot of money on custom stamps, because again, they just get thrown away. I thought in the past the post office has come out with regular Disney stamps but I haven't seem them at all. Any ideas out there?

Anyway, here's some pics of the invites...they're printed on regular paper just to see what they look like. I'll post more pics once they're printed at the end of Feb

Oh shoot I guess I forgot to mention all of that. I'll be ordering paper from Paper Source and she will be printing them at her house. It will be on cardstock and black ink. I decided on no liners for the envelopes...too much hassle to glue and just ups the price.

She orders from Paper Source all the time for the stuff she makes. She thinks it's the best quality for the price you pay and they offer a lot of different options. I'll probably be ordering the covers for the passports from there too, but that won't be until I start getting more RSVP's back.

I can now officially say we only have 150 days until the wedding!!:yay::yay: Our PS is 3 weeks from tomorrow and we've decided to do engagement pics down there at the last minute. We haven't officially booked anyone yet but should be doing so by today. We're going to take pics after my hair trial so hopefully Beaute Speciale can do a little something different for the pics. It's going to be a packed weekend while we're there but I'm getting really excited for it!!

I also ordered the paper for my invitations today and I can't wait to see them all printed up and ready to go!

Ok...time for a little update. We leave for our planning session next Friday morning!!! I can finally say I only have 1 work week left before heading to Florida. I've been trying to get everything organized this past week before I switch to night shift this coming week. My pile is slowly growing and I'll probably be scrambling on Thursday after I wake up. It'll be a quick weekend in Disney and is packed full of stuff. The run down is....

Friday - Planning session and tasting
Saturday - Universal Studios and Harry Potter, Ohana's for dinner
Sunday - hair trial, engagement session, Raglan Road, Downtown Disney

We have book David and Vicki Arndt for our engagement session!! I'm really happy we decided to do this and I don't think we'll regret it. I've been trying to figure out what to wear for the shoot. I have a casual outfit, but I would like to have dressier one too. We plan on using the photos for our guest book and I don't want a book full of pictures with the same outfit on. I really don't look that great with a dress on and no tan...so I feel a little stuck. I'm going to my sisters tomorrow morning to see if we can find something. I'm going to look through David and Vicki's FB page for some ideas once I'm done with this post.

I think that's it for now!

How exciting! I can't wait to hear about your plans at LSS--it never seems like there is enough info on it. I'm sure your pics will turn out fine. You could always go do a spray tan, if you are worried about that. Otherwise, I would throw on some tights or something. You could also do a nice, dressier pant with a cute blouse. Lots of options! Have a fun and safe trip and take lots of pics!

Thanks donald&daisy...I picked out 2 outfits that will work for the shoot. My sister and I went shopping and found a cute cardigan to go with a navy dress that I already have. I'm ok with what I look like in my navy dress and the cardigan covers up the stuff that I don't want shown.

On another note I've started thinking about a gift for my planner for after the wedding. I know most people give a gift and I didn't want to send her just a bouquet of flowers or gift card. I haven't really been searching around really hard since the wedding is till over 4 months away but it's been on the back of my mind. Well today I signed on to Groupon and I think I found something that will work!! They have a $40 Groupon to Fairytale Brownies for $20! I thought the Fairytale part was fitting and brownies are delicious!! Let's just hope Amy isn't allergic to chocolate.

Does anybody get a gift for their planner's assistant too? I really haven't looked very far in to this. I just jumped on the Groupon today.

AND we're leaving for our planning session tomorrow morning!!!!:banana::banana: I'm so happy it's finally time. I think the wedding will actually feel real after the PS. I was really productive before work yesterday and I think I got all the last minute stuff we need for travel.

I have some free time tonight so I figured I could get started on my trip report! We woke up early on Friday morning to catch our flight at 7:00am. It was 10 degrees when we were leaving my house and we couldn't wait to get to 60 degree weather in Disney. Our PS was scheduled for 11:00am and we were due to land at 9:30am. We had just enough time to pick up our rental car and drive right over to the Wedding Pavilion. We had originally scheduled our PS for 1:00 but it got pushed up to fit in a tasting session.

Arriving with 15 minutes to spare!
http://im1.shutterfly.com/media/47a1dc34b3127ccefc0a8e8223a000000030O00BaOGrNqxZMw e3nws/cC/f%3D0/ps%3D50/r%3D0/rx%3D550/ry%3D400/

When Amy came in we got right down to business. Let me just say that Amy is awesome and we couldn't have asked for a better planner!! She's so easy to talk to and completely what we are looking for for our wedding :yay::yay: Let's see...we decided on the 8 hour photography package and are going to Epcot as early as possible to get pictures. We are going to do a first look so we can get a lot of pictures done before the ceremony. We are actually going to ride a van over to the ceremony and then ride the bus back to the resort after the reception. I'm loving this because we're saving a couple hundred dollars right there and I could care less about riding in a limo!!:woohoo: Amy asked if we wanted them to try to get the cuckcoo clock turned off during the ceremony and we said no way. It's all a part of the the charm of Germany and I think it will be awesome if it goes off. We'll be taking family pics right after the ceremony and then it's off to party at the LSS! We picked a 2 tier mad hatter shape cake and want a World Showcase design. We asked for it to be a Chef's choice since they're WAY more creative then Matt and I will ever be. Also, our cake will be a total surprise for us. For the flavors we decided on amaretto with bailey's filling for one tier and then chocolate with peanut butter cup filling for the next. We are going to supplement with a sheet cake that will also be chocolate with peanut butter cup. I know I'm forgetting a ton of stuff but it all just flew by. I'm sure I'll remember once we get the BEO.

Elizabeth from Disney Floral came in next and she was just as awesome as Amy! We decided on minimal decoration for the ceremony and a staged exit with rose petals. She told us we won't need much decoration for the pre-reception and that's awesome. She then showed us a bunch of ideas for center pieces and we decided on the hanging lamp with some tropical leaves around it to tie in the LSS. We are going to use the standard linens and stick with real simple decorations. I think the LSS is beautiful on it's own.

Apparently we flew through the PS and had some time before the menu tasting so Matt and I went outside to explore the WP and the Grand Floridian.

Next up was the menu tasting! We headed over to the Epcot kitchen and man was it busy. They were getting all the food together for the cheerleading competition that was going on all weekend. It was like a well oiled machine in there and it was really cool to see. With all the excitement I completely forgot to take pictures of the food. I know...I'm disappointed in myself. So I think we decided on pasta primavera, chedder cheese mashed potatoes, sauteed veggies, chicken with fig and apples, crepes, mickey waffles, omelet station...crap I can't remember what else. Well anyway we'll see how much it will be pp and adjust things from there. If it ends up being too much we'll probably get rid of the omelet station and just serve eggs. We also took the danishes and fresh fruit and moved them to the pre-reception. We'll be doing a BOC beer and wine with mimosas and bloody marys.

After the tasting it was time to say goodbye to Amy and head to Pop to check in. We got to our room and I think we both fell asleep right away. Once I woke up I forced myself to get out of bed and in the shower to wake up a bit. I wanted to take Matt to the Boardwalk and Jellyrolls that evening since he's never been. I finally dragged him out of bed and off we went for the evening! We had a couple beers and some nachos at Big River Grille before Jellyrolls opened. Matt and I love to sample microbrews and if our wedding wasn't going to be in Disney we were going to have it at a Microbrewery up here.

Thanks ladies!! I'm so happy you're following along!

I got a little pixie dust in the mail today...another Disney Bride sent me her Just Married pins!! I completely wasn't expecting them and they just made my day :) I so appreciative of the support I get on these boards and the real sense of community.

I have one more shift tonight and officially on vacation for a week! I promise I will finish my TR next week.

Thanks for all the replies and comments!! It really means a lot to me!

I figure I'll move on to Day 2 of my TR since I'm on the DF's computer and it's a lot faster than mine.

So Day 2 we got up early to head to Universal! We wanted to get there early because DF's parents got us tickets to both parks. Our main reason for going was to see the Wizarding World of Harry Potter but we got to do everything in one day!

If you're a fan of the books, Harry Potter was awesome!! It felt like you were walking into Hogsmeade. There was so much attention to detail and we had a ton of fun. There isn't much in the way of rides and things to do, but walking around and looking at everything made up for it. We did the ride inside the castle first before it got too crowded. I'm kind of embarrassed to say but the ride was a bit frightening and I had to close my eyes through some of it. Which meant we had to go back later that night to ride it again. BUT totally worth it to ride twice!! Anyway...here are some pics of Hogsmeade and inside the Hogwarts Castle.

After we explored Harry Potter for a bit we headed over to the other park. I have to say the rest of Universal was a little lackluster to me. The attention to detail compared to the Harry Potter area just wasn't there. I got more of an amusement park feel instead of a totally immerse you in the experience...which may be what they're going for. Anyway, we had a ton of fun riding the rides and the day was totally worth it.

Enjoying some beer and soda bread for lunch in Universal

I think we got on all the rides we really wanted to hit. Sorry I know not much detail. We kind of just made a big loop around Universal and then headed back to Harry Potter. We wanted to see it at night and get another butterbeer! We rode the ride inside the castle again. I did not close my eyes at all this time and completely worth it!!

We got back to our room earlier than expected so I had time to wash my hair for my hair trial the next days. We had reservations at Ohana that night at 9:30 and even though we were exhausted I couldn't wait to go! The food was delicious, service eh, but the food made up for it. They were running behind in the reservations so we walked around the Poly for little and were seated around 10:00.

So onto day 3 of our planning session weekend...

I had a hair trial scheduled for 8:30 that morning so we were up by 7:30. I wanted to at least get my eye makeup on before Rosie arrived because we were being picked up for our engagement session at 10:30. Rosie was soooo easy to talk to and so much fun. I showed her some inspirations pics and we got started. I wanted some volume up top and just pulled back loose with lots of texture. My inspiration was Portia de Rossi on her wedding day. I LOVE her hair. We talked about how I should have my hair cut right before the wedding to get the best look. I'm going to add some more layers so that it's lighter on top to get more volume and texture. I'm really happy with the outcome and my hair looked awesome for the rest of the day!!

http://im1.shutterfly.com/media/47a1dc07b3127ccefc21363f727600000030O00BaOGrNqxZMw e3nws/cC/f%3D0/ps%3D50/r%3D0/rx%3D550/ry%3D400/
http://im1.shutterfly.com/media/47a1dc07b3127ccefc213710b3f100000030O00BaOGrNqxZMw e3nws/cC/f%3D0/ps%3D50/r%3D0/rx%3D550/ry%3D400/

I got the hair clip from etsy and picked purple to go with the bridesmaids. I won't be wearing a veil because of the way my dress looks from the back. I wanted something to pop in my hair and I'm really happy with the result.

Rosie let my hair down half way to get a different look for the engagement pics. I finished putting on the rest of my makeup and packed to check-out. Since we were leaving that night we put our luggage in our rental car and off we went with David and Vicki! Our first stop was the Poly for pics with the castle in the background. We took pics all over the resort and got changed to head to the Boardwalk. Right before we left the Poly Vicki wanted to get some quick pics inside and they turned out amazing!! They were some of my favorite pictures with how the light was coming through the windows :) Next stop was the Boardwalk and we walked all over the place. David and Vicki spent so much time with us and our session ran over a bit. We didn't have any real plans for the rest of the day and we could have hung out with them for the rest of the day!! I can't wait for the DVD to come in in a couple weeks and I can get started on the guest book.

After our pics we got dropped off at our car and headed to Downtown Disney for the rest of the day. We got delicious sandwiches from Earl of Sandwich and they were incredible. I got the Hawaiian BBQ and I think DF got Turkey Club. I can't wait to go back in the summer and get more.

We stopped in to Raglan Road to talk to Cathy about our rehearsal dinner. She showed us the Snug Room where we'll be eating. It's off to the side for a little privacy but you're still able to see all of the entertainment. We decided on a menu and our guests will have their choice of soup or salad. For the main course their choice of bangers and mashed, Sheppard's pie, sage roasted chicken, beef and Guinness stew, or risotto. For dessert apple crumble or bread pudding! We're really happy with the menu and they'll be printing up personalized menus for us. :yay::yay:

We were talking about doing a cheaper option for the rehearsal and maybe doing a lunch or buffet breakfast instead of Raglan Road all together. DF's parents want to help with the rehearsal dinner and we weren't really sure if they'd be on board with the cost for dinner. When Matt got home to talk about the options the were overly excited for Raglan Road so we're going to stick with it!

After Raglan Road we walked around DTD and I got my bridal ears!! I wanted to have them before we arrived in Disney in June and my only chance was now. I was sad that our weekend was coming to an end because it really went too fast. We headed to the airport around 4:00 and said goodbye to Disney for a few months

I love your E-Pics to much. David and Vicki really captured you two in a fun way.

I'm loving your trip report because you did some of the things we did when we went last month for our honeymoon. I loved the Harry Potter section of IOA but it was just so crowded with tour groups that it was a little overwhelming. For the first time ever I felt clausterphobic, it was inside one of the gift shops, and I had to go outside to catch my breath, lol. The theming and details were unbelievable though.

OMG, I love Earl of Sandwich so much!!!! If you ever go during the holidays you must try the Holiday Sandwich, it's to die for. BTW, banger's and mash is my absolute favorite meal at Raglan Road. :goodvibes

Just out of curiosity, what other cheaper options were you thinking about for a rehearsal dinner? I'm trying to be as budget friendly for my DF's family, but it's so hard!!! Raglan Road sounds like a great place, but again...isn't it on the pricey side? Thanks!!

Hi! My DF and I are finally trying to plan for the rehearsal dinner. Do you mind if I ask how much Raglan Road is per person and if there are any additional fees (or minimums?) Thanks!

We were looking into doing a breakfast buffet or lunch somewhere at a resort. We originally had our rehearsal scheduled for the morning so we were thinking of going to breakfast right after or lunch right after. Now our rehearsal will be at one of the ballrooms in the afternoon so we're keeping the Raglan Road dinner.

Just found your PJ! And you're getting married a week and a day after I am!

I found your PJ and have been following along!! Thanks for joining!

Hi! My DF and I are finally trying to plan for the rehearsal dinner. Do you mind if I ask how much Raglan Road is per person and if there are any additional fees (or minimums?) Thanks!

We picked the cheapest banquet menu option. I think it came to $38.95 a person plus 18% gratuity added. It has soup or salad, entree and dessert for each guest and we're paying for the first round of drinks. We could have had everyone pick off the main menu but I didn't want people to feel like they had to restrict themselves. This just seemed easier at the time and that way everyone will get 3 courses. We're not going to bring a cake either because dessert is included. We also will be getting the Tables in Wonderland card and we have that included on the BEO. So that will take 20% off the bill.

Aww thanks! I was so lazy with the TR. I never finished it. We had so much drama in the days leading up to the wedding that I just couldnt sit down and go thru it all again.

So I'm a little sad to see that I can't see my ticker anymore :sad2: The image keeps coming up with a red x in the image box. I looked around the boards for some troubleshooting and couldn't come up with anything. I also tried making a new ticker and the same error came up. In looking through the boards I did see that there are a few people's tickers that don't show up either. I'm not really sure what the problem is, but can anyone else see my ticker? Is it a problem with just my computer?

I know not wedding related but just a little sad because I use that to see how close we're getting :confused3 Oh well, we sent out invites last week and we've gotten a few responses back!!! Things are getting exciting. I'm going to take pics of the invites this week and post...I promise!

I wasn't as shocked as I thought I was going to be so I'm relieved!! We budgeted for 90 people but it looks like its really only going to be about 70 or maybe less. I guess we could modify the menu a bit more but I really love everything that's on it. We'll just see how much it goes down with only 70 or so people on there. Few little updates, we've nailed down the groom and groomsman attire and the bridesmaids have found the belt they're going to wear.

The DF got a dark grey suit and the groomsman each have medium grey suits. They'll being wearing white dress shirts and a purple tie. I wanted the groomsman to be able to wear something they already have because one is in nurse anesthetist school and the other is in law school. Both being really expensive I didn't want them to spend even more money on top of traveling to Orlando. Also, my sister had a nightmare with renting tuxes for her wedding and I don't want to worry about that on top of having a destination wedding.

Can I just say I'm ready for it to be April!! I'm tired of this cold weather and miserable winter. DF and I will be doing the welcome folders this weekend. I got all the supplies and one of my coworkers lent me her cricut! I did a mock-up of the folder a couple nights ago and I think it will work. ACMoore is having a sale on all their cardstock this week so I only spent a few dollars on the paper I need. We'll see how much time we have left to print out the stuff for the inside of the folders too. I'm happy that I actually get to start on the detailed stuff for the wedding since we have much better idea of how many people are coming. It's looking like it'll be a little less than 70 guests. I'll posts pics next week!

Thanks!!!:goodvibes It was pretty easy to edit the book. I had to play around with some of the stuff but there's a really convenient "undo" button to take back any mistakes I made.

I got the DVD of our engagement pics back and finished our guest book! I used mixbook.com because I had a groupon from a couple months ago good for $50. Here's a link to the book if anyone is interested...you can look through all the pages. :lovestruc

Hi! :goodvibes
I am just joining in! Your title of the guest book intrigued me!
Thanks for sharing it, I really love it!! I will be making one too, I wanted to use mixbook because I have heard a lot of good things about how user friendly it is and the turn out is obviously great! :lovestruc But I have coupon for snapfish, which I received from David's Bridal after getting my dress... I guess it should be about the same.

I haven't gone through your whole PJ yet, but I def. will be. :)

I loved your book!!!!! I have done a couple using Photobook American with Groupon's but without it would be way expensive and I wanted to do another one.

DH surprised me with the groupon from Mixbook the other day :cool1:. I was so excited to see how well your book turned out. I looked at the website and it seems so easy to put together and I love their graphics!!

Congratulations on such a beautiful guest book, I think it will be a hit at your wedding. :goodvibes

ps....what size and shape book did you order. We have ordered landscapes and liked it but I think the square ones would be good to. Oh and how many pages did you do??? Thanks :)

Thank you so much Deb!! I did the 8.5x11 landscape hardcover. I thought about the square ones but just ended up going with the landscape. It automatically came up with 27 pages in the editor so that's what I did.

So I haven't had an update in a bit so I figured I should get on here. It looks like our guest count is down to 67! So I emailed Amy and Elizabeth the new number and can't wait to see that budget go down :cool1: With the new number with won't need the extra table for 10 and we'll get to use just the existing tables in LS.

We finished the programs this weekend too! I know it's a bit early but I just wanted to get them done. We're running out of weekends that aren't already packed full of things to do before the wedding.

Here's the final product!!

The welcome folders are are an ongoing project and will probably be finished at the last minute. We still have to write the welcome letter, finish the tips page, print the passports, write itinerary transportation schedule and helpful phone numbers. I'd really like to print the welcome letter and tips page on regular paper to save on having to buy more card stock. What does everyone think? I know I need to print the itinerary and transportation schedule on card stock, or what did everyone else do? Opinions please!!:confused3:confused3

Love these! I am in the process of deciding if I want to make programs, and if so, what I want them to look like. Can I ask about how much it cost you to make them, if you don't mind sharing, and how time consuming they were. I am weighing whether it's worth the time/money, and my officiant will print us some for free, that are decent looking, and I am running out of time and money!

Let's see I think I paid $15 for the card stock. I needed 140 sheets for front and back to make 70 programs. I paid $10 for the circle cutter and a few bucks for the sticks. Oh and then the cost of ink. I have just a small deskjet and printed in draft setting to save ink. It didn't even take up half a cartridge. As for the time goes...it was a bit time consuming overall I think it took 4 hours between the 2 of us to print, cut and glue. In my mind, completely worth it to save the couple hundred dollars it would have cost to have someone else do them.:goodvibes.

I can send you the template if you want!

I love the programs!! They look great!! I've started typing rough drafts of our welcome info at 2 years out, and I'll probably scramble to finish them a week before :lmao: I would think regular paper would be okay for all of that. Maybe get different colors so you can refer to "the green paper will tell you phone numbers" or "the blue paper is the transportation schedule"--etc. Just an idea :)

My sister and bridesmaid threw my shower yesterday and took me out for my bachelorette yesterday! It was awesome and I had so much fun. I post for details for the day once I have my hands are more pictures. I just wanted to post some teasers now from the shower.

The shower was of course a Disney theme and my sister and bridesmaid made mini ears for everyone and put my face on all of the balloons. Oh and I was instructed to wear my bride ears which turned out to be really cute with eveyone wearing ears.

For the bachelorette we went to Tony and Tina's Wedding which is a traveling show that happened to be in town this weekend. I don't have any pics of that yet, but it was a blast. We wore our ears for that and people kept asking me if we were a part of the show!

As a little background...my sister is obsessed with posting pictures of my face on things for big events in my life. For my high school graduation she had my face on paint sticks waving at m from the audience while I was up on stage! So here is my face on a bunch of balloons that ended up spread around the room and outside.

I've been slacking and wanted to post about my shower last week. We're coming down to the last month and I fell like I've been doing a lot but really doing nothing at all! So let me start somewhere and get the shower and bachelorette out of the way. My MOH and bridesmaid through my shower at my older sister's house. It was awesome and I really had a good time. The theme was kept a secret and I wasn't allowed to know any of the details.

My friends from high school drove me to the shower and as I'm walking up to the back door I see balloons with my face on them! So of course there was more waiting for me inside. It was a mouse themed party....well I guess you could say more Minnie Mouse. I was instructed to wear my bride ears and my sister had made ears for everyone else. It was actually really cute. There weren't any games but my sister had borrowed Disney charades from one of her students. I had to act out different Disney characters for the guests and I have to say I did a pretty good job for being in a dress! My sister would say that I cheated but I was the only one acting stuff out so I made up my own rule! The food was delicious and we got some really great stuff for our future house.

Since my bridesmaid was up from DC they had my bachelorette that night too. The details of it were also kept a surprise so I really had no idea what was going on. I was told to dress nice (no jeans) and wear my bride ears again. So off we go to Maggianos and head upstairs to the third floor. We were standing in line for something and a guy in a tux comes over and starts talking to us like he knows us. Okkkkkk weird, but whatever I'll role with it. Then a priest comes over to me and starts scolding me for getting married outside! Well then I really have no idea whats going on. Everyone else is just histerical and loving it. We go into the ballroom and we're at Tony and Tina's Wedding!! Let me just say it was hilarious and we had the best time! The food was good and we laughed the whole night. People kept coming up to me asking if I was a part of the show because of my ears. Tony and Tina's wedding is a traveling show where you are the guests at their wedding. I would totally recommend it but get a group together to go. If you have 8 or more people you all get to sit at your own "guest" table just like a real wedding. If it's less people you'll be sitting with strangers. I have to look for some pictures from the bachelorette.

I feel like I have so much to do and I'm getting nothing done so I just need to put it all in a list

What I have done...
Ceremony sent to Jack
Cover of welcome folders
brochure for welcome folders
intinerary/transport schedule written out
programs

Need to do...
print ceremony
print passports
print interinary/transportation schedule
write and print welcome letter - Matt
buy parents park tickets
call Magical express for our ride back to MCO
2nd dress fitting - 5/21
phone appt with Amy
organize wedding box
organize things to ship
get bridal party gifts
submit final payment
pay Beaute Speciale
pay Carolyn Allens
decide if I'm going to ship dress
get rehearsal time so I can send out invites
Call Raglan Road with rehearsal dinner final count
check for updated coupons for rental car

I feel like I'm so all over the place and that I'm forgetting SO many things. :scared1: I'm working all day today and all I can think about is how much stuff I could be getting done if I weren't at work.

Tomorrow we're moving stuff in my house to get ready for Matt to move in. We're staying with my dad for a little bit so we can buy a house. I didn't want to have the stress of buying a house right before the wedding. So we're taking the summer to save some more money and then buy in the fall or winter. We'll have our own separate area in my house. So we'll have a living room, bedroom and our own bathroom. I didn't want to rent for a while and then buy. I would rather save a LOT and then buy.

I'm hoping to have some time left tomorrow to maybe get some wedding stuff done but who knows! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me what I'm forgetting I really need to get myself organized.

:banana::banana::banana:ONE MONTH UNTIL THE WEDDING!!!!:banana::banana::banana:

I'm really counting down until we arrive in Disney because that's when the fun starts. So we really have less then a month until we get there!! I had a phone appt with Amy and DJ Steve this week and I'm feeling better about what I need to get done. I'm making progress with my to do list and I think I've gotten the seating chart done. I just need Matt to look it over to make sure his side of the family is good to go.

We bought our wedding bands! I'm in love with mine and Matt is really excited about his. Matt's is a tungsten carbide band and he got it off amazon.com for $30!!!! I think he's most excited about that part :rotfl: Mine is a Simon G ring, same as my engagement, and don't want to share how much it was ;) but I LOVE IT! Ok...pics

My friend emailed me some of the table numbers she's been working on. She got the idea from Disney by the numbers and is playing off that. I love all her ideas and she's incorporated the design from our invitations! She is so awesome and could only dream of being as creative at her. Here's a pic of one....the numbers will look weird on the escort cards but once they get to the tables they'll read the fact that goes with it.

http://im1.shutterfly.com/media/47a1db38b3127ccefd72a20330c800000030O00BaOGrNqxZMw e3nws/cC/f%3D0/ps%3D50/r%3D0/rx%3D550/ry%3D400/

It's not really pixalated...it just shows up that way in the program I opened it in. The rest of the table numbers are similar with different facts. I can't wait to see all of them and the facts she picked!

Sundays are good days for getting things done :goodvibes I'm making headway with the forms DJ Steve sent me. We're done the seating chart and I just need to send off the list to the girl who's printing everything. I have small to-do lists scattered all over my desk!

I was planning on printing the transportation schedule/itinerary today but apparently my printer won't print on cardstock!! I'm heading up to DF's today so I'll try on his printer. I really don't want to have to break down and print it on regular paper. It'll be so much better on heavier weight paper. Here's a pic of the itinerary/transportation...I'll cut it down the middle to make 2 different sheets.

http://im1.shutterfly.com/media/47a1db03b3127ccefd79dbbae44b00000030O00BaOGrNqxZMw e3nws/cC/f%3D0/ps%3D50/r%3D0/rx%3D550/ry%3D400/

Other news not related to the wedding.....we got a new car. We were planning on buying a car with 4WD this coming winter. The past 2 winters have been crappy around here. My dad had to drive me to work many times in these last to years because my little civic couldn't make it through the unplowed city streets. I'm a nurse in an ER so not going to work isn't an option especially when they declare a weather emergency.

Well the DF's car decided to die a bit too early...but hey these are the cards we're dealt. We ended up with a Honda CR-V :goodvibes It's the perfect size for us and it's deceiving from the outside. There's more cargo room than you think and should be able to get me to work just fine in the winter!

Oh and this time in 4 weeks we'll be married!!! :yay::yay::yay::yay:

Yup that's the plan. It seem pretty disorganized right now but we're planning on buying to soda and stuff from the grocery store. Then we'll just order pizzas and hang out with everyone at the pool. A lot of our guests are staying at CB so it shouldn't be too awkward. It was the most budget friendly option and I think it will be fun. We're planning on going to Magic Kingdom after since it's open till 2am!!

Ok I'm now really starting to get overwhelmed   It's not the tasks that have to get done because I really think I have those under control. I have all that stuff planned out for my days off. I guess it's just stuff at work and our guest count that's really overwhelming me.

I'm hearing through the grapevine of people who aren't coming anymore and reservations that are getting changed....then people who want to come to the rehearsal but then may not...blah blah blah. Then when we're asking people about it they're like well just put them down for 1 right now and we'll see. But HELLO!!!! this isn't some open house and if you come you come. WE'RE PAYING FOR YOU!! If you don't show up we eat that money :headache::headache::headache: And most of these people never even formally RSVP'd which makes me even more pissed off. I know our final count isn't due for 2 weeks but if you're treating it like that now you obviously don't care at all so don't even bother.

Another thing people are asking about...well what are we going to do with the kids?? Now let me phrase this that EVERYONE has known for over a year now that we had to cut the guest list off at first cousins. It was the only objective way to do it because inviting 2nd cousins would have added 30 more people to the list and if you invite one you have to invite them all. It's been no secret and talked about NUMEROUS times through the year. Well now that people are dropping out others are hinting at....well now that they're not coming is there room for my kid?? NO because there are some people not coming to the wedding at all because we didn't invite the 2nd cousins. So if I let you bring your kid now what am I going to say to all the people who didn't come for that very reason???  And it's not like I'm just saying no to be mean....this is your family too! You'd be hurting their feelings by your kid coming knowing that other people in YOUR family aren't coming. You just want me to take the heat for it as long as you get what you want.

I'm just so frustrated and I feel like I just may break down in tears at any minute. I know everyone goes through this but I just need to get it out. People just aren't treating it like a wedding and feel like they can show up or not.

Sounds like you have really good reason to be frustrated!!!! Some people are just so ... clueless, you know? People just don't think about things like paying for meals. But trying to bring extra plus ones is just tacky. I'm sorry you have to go through it. I feel like it's something every couple has to deal with when planning a wedding, and I'm NOT looking forward to it, heh. Hang in there!!!!

I know exactly what you're going through, you're right, we do all go through it, but knowing that doesn't make it any easier!

We didn't invite kids either, but in the end there was only 1 child coming with her parents, so we felt a bit mean saying that she had to sit out the wedding all by herself, so she ended up coming. That was ok with me, because it was my decision, and not something pressed upon me by random family members.

I don't really have any advice to offer. In the end we had a cut off RSVP date and made sre everyone knew we had to know exact numbers by that date. People must have started getting scared of me or something, because the amount we had on the RSVP day was the amount that came to the wedding  I was so worried that I'd get people calling months afterwards, as our RSVP date was pretty early (Nov 1st for a March 1st wedding...) but nope, no one!

Having said that though, we still got a heap of people - once we arrived at the parks - asking to come for dinner reservations that I'd made 6 months beforehand. Thank God Disney is so accomodating, because I don't think we went to 1 ADR with the amount of people we had booked for... :rolleyes1

It's all very frustrating at the time, but once it's all done and over with, it's just all part of the wedding experience!

i'm so sorry this is happening to you :( i know if i was in your shoes, i'd freak out. which is why i un-invited everyone

i would start reaching out to people asking if their planning is going good, etc. i would also go as far as making people give me their flight info, reservation info, etc so they know you mean business. not that you'll do anything with it... it will just seem more official :rotfl: also throw in, "now please let me know if you make ANY changes, we get charged for every little thing."

i really hope this all works out for you. it's coming up so soon!! good luck :)

:cheer2::cheer2:WE ARE DOWN TO THE 2 WEEK MARK!! :cheer2::cheer2:

I think the guest count stuff has finally calmed down and hopefully there's no more surprises in the next 2 weeks. If there are I hopes it's before we have to give our final count. I'm not messing with the seating chart anymore and it's staying the way it is even if people drop out. I'm tired of changing it and stuff is getting printed this weekend anyway!

This weekend has been set aside for gathering all the stuff I have to ship down. We are using my sister's cake server set so we have to dig that out. Hopefully we'll find it today because I don't want to have to buy one. I know it's important to some people but it would be something we'd use once for the wedding...then it'd be put away, never to be seen again!

I had a spa day with my sister and roommate from college yesterday. It was wonderful...I love getting facials  They are just so relaxing and I think I have more "pretty" days after I get one. I don't know if I'm crazy or maybe other people have this but.....there are some days I wake up and look at myself and say....oh my face looks ok today therefore "pretty" day and other days I wake up and look Oh! not a pretty day today. HAHA So I enjoy my post facial days. Then we went to a delicious lunch in Rittenhouse Square and we had an awesome time! It got me REALLY excited for the wedding and I loved being able to say to my roommate...I'll see you in a couple weeks!

I finally finished printing, stuffing and labeling the welcome folders. I have separate piles for ones to ship...ones to hand out on the plane....and ones to give to people before we leave. There are 2 families who are staying offsite and it would be too difficult to get the folders to them once we're down there. So we're just going to give them before we leave and HOPE they remember them. I'm not taking responsibility after I give them out. Ok here are some pics of the finished product :)

How exciting to be so close! I have been swamped the last month getting home late and have been missing my time on the Dis, so it was nice to get the chance to catch up. The welcome packets look great, I like the idea of giving it to some people on the plane too which will help them pass the time :thumbsup2 The passports are so cute, I love the final product.

I am the same way about the pretty versus not pretty days, so I can definitely relate :upsidedow

Thanks! I really like the end result of the passports and I hope people really like them. I actually gave one of my friends her welcome folder this past Thursday because she is over the top excited. I wanted to give it to her so she could start really plan out her weekend. She is a Disney fanatic and a planner!

I'm not really that crafty either so I think you could totally do it! I took some passport designs off the Disign board and combined a few.

So I'm sitting here at work and thinking about all the stuff I could be doing at home if I wasn't here. I only have 2 shifts left including this one and then I get to do all the exciting stuff before we leave! I have 3 days off before we leave next Friday and they're all planned out already.

Tuesday:
gather things to pack
look over my "don't forget list"
get tips together in envelopes
get papers organized

It's more of an organizational day than anything to see what I'm forgetting

Wednesday:
Pick up dress
Meet with dogsitter
more packing

Thursday:
Hair appt
nail appt
mall trip to pick up last minute items
have to finish packing

Friday!!
wake up before dawn and head to the airport!!

I shipped everything for the reception and ceremony this past Thursday. I really hope I didnt forget anything because I was rushing around. I had a couple meetings at work that morning so that put me behind and I had to get to UPS by 6:30. I had to ship Thursday because I worked yesterday and today so I wouldn't have been able to ship things till Monday if I didn't do it Thursday. Monday would have cut it WAY to close for me so Thurs was the only choice. After I was done packing everything it looked like a bomb had gone off in my room! I couldn't believe where everything came from. It took me an hour to clean everything up! We'll see how much I forgot to ship once I start packing everything else.

Alright, l have to get back to work since now people are waking up and starting to come in to the ER.....I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL TUESDAY!!

I've been busy running around for the past couple days getting ready. I just picked up my dress and I still love it!! I'm finishing up some laundry and then I'll start making piles of stuff to pack :goodvibes

Tomorrow I get my haircut and nails done and then I really have to pack everything in suitcases. We'll see how organized I am tomorrow night. Things are just scattered everywhere right now.

I already shipped stuff and I got the delivery confirmation yesterday so that's a relief. I wanted to post a pic of our unity candle before but I forgot...so here you go

So I'm laying here in bed waiting to get up to go to the airport. I was sleeping okay but there is a HUGE storm passing through right now so I'm surprised everyone else is still asleep except the dog. We leave in less than an hour and I hope this storm passes before than. My dog is really freaked out by storms and I'll feel aweful leaving her right in the middle of one:sad2:

Anyway...we're leaving for Disney today!!! There's 20 of us on the group flight going down this morning and I'm going to cross my fingers that our rooms are ready before 3:00. Ok time to roll out of bed and get moving! I'll try to post through the trip :goodvibes

We're back from Disney....happy we're married, sad we had to leave :sad1: We had the most amazing time with both our families and wouldn't have changed a thing. Our families got some awesome picks from the wedding day and I just need to same them to my computer. I was also posting on facebook during the whole trip and especially the day of. We were getting messages from our family and friends all day who couldn't be there but were following along on facebook. I know it seems kinda corny to be posting on facebook on your wedding day but people were loving it!

So I guess I should start with my Glad I Dids.....

1. Had a DFTW!:goodvibes It was amazing and I felt sooooo special the whole time we were there. I was able to relax and just have a ton of fun the whole wedding weekend. I knew Amy was there for anything that could have happened. I feel like the luckiest person knowing that I was able to be a Disney Bride. It was amazing and I wouldn't have changed a thing.

2. Getting married in Epcot. It was a really early morning but it was awesome! I had to get up at 4am but it only made my wedding day last longer and I didn't have to wait around to get anything started! It was off to the races first thing in morning and it didn't end until Magic Kingdom closed that night! It was so serene to have the World Showcase to ourselves that morning. We got a ton of awesome pictures and the wedding party was having so much fun being there alone. We were even able to get some pictures in Italy after the ceremony before we went off to the reception. It was like having our own Epcot photoshoot without having to get up early another day:goodvibes

3. Not seeing the LSS before the reception. DH and I weren't able to see the LSS before our wedding because there was a party there during our PS. We were just basing everything off pictures we had seen. I REALLY liked leaving it a surprise because it was something new to look forward too!

4. Chef's Choice wedding cake. We told Amy we wanted a World Showcase theme mad hatter cake and the rest was up to the chef! It turned out better than we could have imagined. The chef's are WAY more creative than the DH and I could ever be and it was just another surprise for us.

5. Mickey and Minnie. I wish we had video of everyone's face when they came in. People at that point were just kind of sitting around digesting their meal. Then Mickey and Minnie came in and everyone turned into a kid! Everyone was up and wanting to dance with them. It was great!

6. Had an early reception. It gave everyone a chance to get back to their rooms for a break before the evening events. We were able to change and relax for a bit before heading back to Epcot.

7. Drank around the world instead of a DP. I had been going back and forth about not having a DP and wondering if I would regret it. But boy did we have WAY more fun drinking around the world. We had SOOOO much more time in Epcot with everyone and not secluded to one spot. We were able to walk around at our own pace and really get to spend a ton of time with all of our friends. I feel like it was so much more relaxed and there was no structure.

8. Went to Magic Kingdom that night. It was such a nice ending to our day. I wanted to wedding day to last forever and it was a nice wind down. There was a group of about 12 of us that went and we got to ride all the cool rides together. My one friend from college and her husband came out from California to the wedding and I loved being able to spend more time with her. It was like we were hanging out in college again and having a blast.

That's all I can think of right now. As for my reviews, I don't have a bad one to tell. Every person we came in contact with gets an A+++. Everyone was absolutely amazing.

Amy Reindeau - I wish everyone could have her as a planner. I can't say enough great things about her and I could ramble on forever. I'll spare everyone though. I LOVE her!

Jack Day - awesome, funny, makes you feel so special. Don't worry if he doesn't respond to your emails. He will be there for your rehearsal and wedding day and make you feel like he's known you all your life

Elizabeth Sutton - amazing, everything looked beautiful and I wouldn't have changed anything!

DPS - I know people have some bad reviews about DPS but Amy and Regina were awesome. They work so well together and make you feel so relaxed. They even bustled my dress for me! I wish I could have spent all day with them. We were sent some sneak peeks and from what I saw our pics couldn't have turned out better. I could ramble on about them all day too. :goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

Personal Floral - I used Plumerias Wedding Boutique. I ordered the flowers online and I think they looked great. Regina commented that it was one of the best fake bouquets she's seen. My guests thought they were real. Oh and the best compliment I got was from a bee. It came up to my bouquet and tried to pollinate it while we were taking pictures...hahahahah:) I think that was a good sign that they looked real.

Beaute Speciale - They were upbeat, cheerful and did an amazing job. I loved my hair and it stayed all day and ever through the night. We didn't end our night until 2am and my hair looked the same as it did in the morning. My bridesmaids and I did our own makeup so I cant really review on that.

I think that's really in for the vendors. Since my wedding was inside the park we went through Disney for everything. OH and I should mention our food was delicious. I think my dad went up for 5 plates! HAHAHAHA

I felt like a celebrity...and I am sure you did too:goodvibes I can't wait to see your cake. We also told the bakery to do whatever they wanted, we just said Mad Hatter, and we loved ours, and like you, we also saw our reception place for the first time when we arrived on our wedding day. It made the day more exciting as you see these places in pictures while you are planning, and than are finally there!

We also told the bakery to do whatever they wanted, we just said Mad Hatter, and we loved ours, and like you, we also saw our reception place for the first time when we arrived on our wedding day. It made the day more exciting as you see these places in pictures while you are planning, and than are finally there!

I saw some of your pics on FB...I need to see more! You two looked so amazing, and so happy! Congrats again:cool1:

Epcot was really awesome. I'm glad someone else had the same experience as us. The way I described it really doesn't do it justice.

Oh good! I'm glad you got to see some on facebook! Vicki messaged me a little bit ago and said I should friend you. She mentioned something about doing a disbride meet sometime next year!

Congrats, can't wait to see all your pictures! It sounds like you had an amazing day!

Thanks!!

If anyone wants to check out some pics on facebook before I get them up just PM and I'll request you as a friend! :)

So we left EARLY in the morning the Friday before the wedding. We were taking the first Southwest flight out of Philly at 5:45am. There were 22 people on our group flight so I was pretty excited to meet up with everyone at the airport and get going. A huge storm woke me up in about a half hour before my alarm was suppose go off so I just laid there listened to the storm until I decided to roll out of bed. We had to pack a few last things in the van before we left (MY DRESS) and then we were off! It was still pouring down rain on the way to the airport and my dad's defroster doesn't work. So there I am driving 8 of us to the airport with a paper towel in my hand trying to wipe the windshield. Needless to say I looked ridiculous haha!!! We got there safe so that's what counts :goodvibes

We got through security fast and then headed to our gate. And to my surprise my one friend and her boyfriend were sitting at the gate waiting for everyone!! I didn't think she was going to be able to make it down until later the night so it was awesome!!

The flight was pretty uneventful but the flight attendants did congratulate us over the loud speaker during our descent. Everyone on the group flight caught Magical Express and DH and me picked up our rental car. We rented a car for the first 5 days because we knew we'd have errands to run and with switching hotels it would just be easier.

Going through the gates

We went right to DTD to activate our annual passes and get the TIW card. We thought we would beat everyone taking Magical Express but we got a text while we were in DTD that everyone had arrived!! We headed back to Caribbean Beach and checked in. About half the rooms were ready including ours which was nice. We dumped our stuff with my parents and sisters stuff in our room and planned out the rest of the day. My sister and bridesmaid had the adjoining room to us but it wasn't ready yet so we all went to MGM for the morning. I knew my dad would love One Man's Dream and it's in air conditioning :)

We walked around to see some other stuff and got a snack. By that time it was getting REALLY hot and the rest of the rooms were ready. We all headed back to the hotel for people to take naps. DH and I still had to sort through our stuffed we shipped, deliver stuff to Franck's and get snacks for the welcome party that night.

My bridesmaid had arrived when we got back to the hotel so while everyone else took a nap she came with the DH and I on our errands. I was so excited to see her :yay: The 3 of us went to Franck's first to drop off the bins. We walked around the outside of the Pavilion but we couldn't go in because there was a rehearsal going on. We were searching on our phones for the closest grocery store but for some reason were having a hard time. I said forget it just look for a Target!! HAHA...Target is always my go to, I love that store. There was one like 7 miles away and we were off!! Picked up some snacks, soda and water from Target and headed back to the hotel. By the time we got back we had to order the pizzas and get ready for the welcome party.

We planned on having a pizza/pool party for our Welcome gathering at Caribbean Beach. The majority of our guests were staying at Caribbean Beach so it just made it easier to have it there. Caribbean Beach is HUGE so we told everyone to meet at the main pool just outside the food court. We were staying in Aruba and there was a bridge right outside our building going over to the main pool...it was awesome :cool1: We (me, bridesmaids, brother-in-law, DH) were all ready in our bathing suits and coverups waiting for the pizza to be delivered to the room and then we were going to head over. The pizza guy calls me and says he'd be there in 5 min. I look outside and see a HUGE storm and it starts to pour :rotfl: The pizza comes and the poor guy is soaked :confused3 I told him I'm sorry and take the 10 pizza off his hands.

I knew the texts from my friends and family were coming and boy did they. I told them to just meet us inside of the food court and we'd make a break for it once the rain let up. Most of them were on the bus or stuck in their rooms anyway. It thunder stormed for about 20 mins and then the rain let up. We made a break for it with the 5 of us carrying everything we could...we looked ridiculous :lmao: We were the first ones to the food court anyway so we spread out in a corner and took over a bunch of tables. It worked out just fine and I'm pretty sure everyone had a good time. We had pizza, snacks and cookies and everyone just mingled. The pool was closed because of the lightning but the bar was still open!!

Even though we couldn't swim we still had an awesome time. We were able to see everyone that had arrived that day and just relax with our guests. We had a few beers and filled up on pizza and chips.

On a side note...I just got our invoice from Disney and I'm a little shocked by the number. We didn't get our full deposit back and I was a little shocked. I then went to the detailed bill and saw that our BOC bar was the culprit.

I was mostly shocked by the amount of mimosas served...210  We only had 60 guests so that's 3.5 mimosas per person and I find it very hard to believe that EVERYONE had that amount. That's not counting the amount of beer and wine that was served on top of that. I'm sorry to be bringing this up here...I'm just a little shocked by the number

I'm trying not to dwell on it. I was having SOOOO much fun and really wasn't paying attention to the bar. Maybe everyone did drink that much :confused3

After the welcome party a whole bunch of us went to Magic Kingdom because it was open until 2am that night. I wanted to catch the fireworks and the late parade too! We got there right as Wishes was going on and then we just stayed on Main St. to watch the parade too.

I REALLY LOVED going to the parks with a whole group of us. Just walking around with everyone and riding stuff with all of us together was amazing.
I wish everyone could go to Disney together all the time. Its some of my best memories from the trip:love:

The next morning we slept in until 11:30. My sister and bridesmaid actually woke us up and I can't believe we slept for so long. We were totally exhausted from the day before without a nap. They had the adjoining room so they were knocking on our door haha! Rehearsal was at 4:30 so we decided we would just eat lunch and hang out at the pool until it was time to get ready. While we were waking up Matt's groomsman was messaging him and was in Magic Kingdom. Matt said it seemed like his groomsman really wanted him to meet him there so I told him he should go. It was his groomsman's first time in Disney and I really wanted him to have a good time.

After Matt left, me, my sister, bridesmaid and BIL got our suits on and went to grab lunch and hit the pool. We actually got some really good burgers and sandwiches from the food court and delicious Sangria :thumbsup2 We took a quick dip in the pool and before we knew it it was time to get ready for rehearsal! The weekend was flying by way to fast :sad2:

Your welcome party looks like it was so much fun! Yah, BOC bars can be really scary! I had the opposite of you though. I was suppose to have BOC mimosas, and they stopped serving at one each, so I ended up getting a refund :lmao: I was mad though, because I wanted another mimosa! Oh well.....

I can't wait to see more. And I really hope David and Vicki do a disbride shoot! I will use any excuse to go back to Disney!

After eating lunch and hanging out by the pool we headed back to the room and got ready for the rehearsal and dinner...mmm

Of course us girls couldn't get ourselves ready on time so the boys and our families left to catch a bus to MGM and then the bus back to Boardwalk. Since we had a rental car the the girls and me drove over to the Boardwalk once we finally got ourselves together. We actually thought we were early until we figured out the clock in the rental car was 15 mins behind! :lmao: Since we were getting married in Epcot we just decided to have rehearsal at the Boardwalk. It would have been extra money to have it at Epcot and we would have had to have it at 9:00 am if that the was case.

Rehearsal was supposed to start at 4:30 and here we come strolling in at 4:30 thinking we were 15 mins early. Anyway Amy and Jack were there with everything set up. They even had candy set up as out unity candle...it was so cute. Anyway the rest of our party wasn't there and Matt was calling me frantic saying the Boardwalk was the last stop and they'd be there as soon as they could. I felt really bad because I didn't want him to be so stressed about it. We just chatted with Jack and Amy about the schedule for the wedding day while we waited.

Waiting for everyone else to show up
http://im1.shutterfly.com/media/47a1d924b3127ccefddece40067000000010O00BaOGrNqxZMw e3nws/cC/f%3D0/ps%3D50/r%3D0/rx%3D550/ry%3D400/

Everyone got there by 4:45 and we breezed through rehearsal. Jack ran through everything twice and I swear my dad had no idea what he was saying. He couldn't pick up on his accent and he was talking so quietly...it was hilarious :rotfl: My dad did everything perfect on the wedding day anyway so it really didn't matter. Jack was so cute and really was perfect for us.

I thought I had more pictures of the rehearsal but this is all I uploaded apparently

After rehearsal we split up again to get to DTD. The girls and I drove to DTD because Matt hadn't picked up the Pluto pin for his brother that he wanted to give him yet. So the girls and me were on pin duty while he got everyone else to Raglan Road. We had reserved the Snug Room for dinner and it was really perfect for us. It was off in the corner and we could move around as we wished back there. We had to wait around a little bit for my 2 older sisters to get there. They were just checking into CB while we were waiting at getting a taxi to get there as soon as they could. We just ordered some beer and it gave us a chance to talk before dinner was served.

I wish we could have gone back for dinner later that week but we just ran out of time :sad1: If you're thinking of having your rehearsal dinner there DO IT...we were even allowed to use our TIW cards.

After dinner we shopped a little bit and headed back to the hotel. The boys wanted to go to the pool bar for a beer. I wanted to go by MOH and BM informed me that I had to get up at 4am and it was already 10:30...I needed to go to bed. They were right so we chatted a little bit and I surprisingly fell asleep pretty quick.

Just wanted to say that I was so impressed with your personal floral that I looked at Roberta's site and just sent her an email to order all of our personal floral!! It will save a ton of money and they'll last forever (or at least until I get tired of having them around).
