What a great feeling! I recently booked our first reservation, I can't wait until next summer. I can see why everyone gets hooked on this. How do you get the countdown to your trip in your signature?

Congratulations! Isn't it a wonderful feeling. I went to technical support for assistance. Hope this helps.

I completely understand!!!!! There's something about booking your first trip home that is sooooo exciting!
I'm a new member this year and have definitely been bit by the 'DVC BUG'. I'm afraid more points are definitely going to be needed if I don't get over the 'Bug'!.

Samsam - the "bug" you are referring to has a name and a post! It's called Disneyitis. It sounds like you may have the first symptoms. LOL!!;)

Yes that first reservation is exciting. I was calling at the 11month window as we were still waiting to close.

I am getting so excited for November and then my trip in Jan!

And in Dec I get to see some people get excited as they open thier present for xmas: a family trip to WDW, with accomadations provided by us through DVC. We NEVER would have been able to pay for all the hotel, let alone get us all stays in the same hotel, with out DVC!

I agree with Doctor P....every phone call to MS is exciting, because you're talking about going on a great vacation and you're not talking money!

And welcome to the DIS boards, yopaulie.:)

SamSam,

From your countdown clock it looks like we both got the same great airfare. We were just at VWL in June, but when I got the airfare deal I just had to squeeze in another visit. Looks like we arrive about an hour before you do!

Janis, You're right! I'm feeling really spoiled right now, but when I saw the $140 round trip price out of KC, I said to Dh......'You know it's my BD and we're both dying to go stay at our 'new home'.
Of course, he didn't need much persuading. It's a quick trip, but for us that's what works the best.
Have a great trip!

Laurabearz,

We also still have some time left on out annual passes. That's another thing that makes this trip so great - room on points, annual passes and cheap airfare!!

SamSam,

Hope your trip (or should I say trips) is wonderful also!!!

Minybear - I agree - I always planned our vacations a year in advance so it was paid for before we even stepped on the plane but not having to worry about all that stuff is great!! Can't wait to go home in June!!
