December99's mom passed away this afternoon.

I just got a call from Chris and her mom passed away about an hour ago. We are both very stunned still, as you might imagine. Chris is still with her mom in Rockford and won't likely be home for several hours. We have not yet told DD (and, of course, Chris would like to be the one to tell her). I am seeking the strength to get through picking up DD without letting on that she has lost her grandmother. I need to go to a meeting after dropping her off, but it will be very hard to not show my sadness when I see her (I know I can do it, but it will be hard as you can imagine). I know how much support Chris has gotten from her DIS friends and how much she is likely to need. We love you all and thank you for all you have given us. Please pray for Chris' mom's soul and for Chris, her brother Marc, and the rest of our family.
