Being a brand new owner of points at WVL..I have yet to make reservations...could someone tell me what types of things my guide can do for me, other then just booking a room for me....also, are there any other benifits that come along with our ownership, other then the discounts that I read about?....also, I am going down on a trip this summer that I had previouly paid for before I bought into DVC...would I be able to set up a tour at my home resort, being as how I bought in sight unseen (I trust Disney quality)?....I know those are a bunch of questions...but I am slowly learning.

You can make your reservations by calling Member services at the number published in your guide book. Your guide is a sales person, not a booking agent.
Is your reservation at one of the DVC resorts or at another Disney resort? If it is at a DVC resort, you might be able to see if your guide can get it changed to points. THat is one booking he/she might be able to do. Not sure how this works, but have heard something about it on this board.
There are always rooms available to be toured. Again, I would ask your guide to help you there. They spend thier days taking folks on tours.

I have used my guide as a resource person for any concerns I have regarding the DVC. If she does not have the answer for me she would send me in the right direction or gets back the information to me. I think my guide is terrific. She is Celeste Chaffaut. If anyone else has Celeste as a guide I am sure you know what I am talking about.
I feel very confident in saying that any of the DVC guides would do the same for their members.
