Disney visa points promotion

I was curious if anyone has received a recent points promo in the mail? About a year and a half ago, I received an offer to get 5x points for gas and restaurant purchases. That really paid off, I think I earned about 75 points extra in those three months. But nothing else has come my way in a LONG time. Anybody getting these offers now?

I received a promo about 2 wks ago. For every eligible dollar you spend above $750 each month, you get reward dollars at 3x the regular rate up to a max of 100 reward dollars for the period 7/1/2010 through 9/30/2010.

Are these promotions available to all Disney Visa holders or do you have to opt-in?

Did it come to you in your mail or email? I've heard that some people find these types of promotions on the website for Disney Visa but I've never seen any. Everytime I go to news or rewards, etc....it's never a personalized 5x (or 3x) type promotion to sign up for.

Oh, and is this your first promo? I've only received the one offer and would like to know if they offer more than one to a person.

I received a card in the mail last week. The amount was for gas, groceries and one other thing over $1000. I have seen some people get a $250 limit which would be great. There is no way we would reach that level for any category so I did not sign up.

I guess we use ours too much and always pay it off each month.... we have never gotten one of these offers.... I wonder if we quit using it for awhile if they would offer something..... who am I kidding I like the Disney Rewards, so I don't see us not using it

I got a card in the mail. I've received promos like this before but it's been awhile.

We have had our card for about 5 years and have NEVER gotten any promo offers. Probably because we use it almost every day. Maybe I should stop using it too.:confused3

I have no idea how they decide who to send these promos to. We use our card for monthly items and pay it off each month. Although, we have stepped up our use within the past month since we'll be at WDW this Fall.

I've received a promo for the past two quarters. 3X above $500 in groceries, gas, dining and airfare/month. There is a sticky on the budget board on this topic - I think it is entitled "5X rewards", but no one seems to get that much anymore.
