The post asks 'on WDW property', but the choices include Vero and HH - any reason?

I have only stayed at OKW & Boardwalk Villas. I voted for OKW only because it is the oldest of the vacation club resorts.

don't see a need for any "improvement". I think that the DVC does a good job of maintaining all of the properties. Are there things that I personally wish one property had that it does not have now, sure, prime example a pool slide at the OKW property. But that is not an "improvement", a solid majority of folks polled are not for this change. Some would call this an unneeded change others might call it an improvement. I think that the DVC is a quality organization and really doesn't need to improve any of the properties...just keep doing the excellent job that is an ongoing effort at all of the properties. I honestly feel that the differences in the resorts is the true strength of the DVC as a whole.

I think that the BWV needs the most improvement. The lobby especially needs help but they are doing a lot this year to improve that.

With all the controversy over pool hopping, it would be a great thing if all resorts had a pool like SAB so hopping wouldn't be so prevalent. Most resorts seem to be maintained extremely well.

I can't say about the rest, but I think DVC does a good job of maintaining OKW. All the maintainance they did this year was quite evident.

Seems to me that because there are only 2 DVC resorts on WDW property (not including the brand spankin new VWL), that this is just another OKW vs. Boardwalk debate. OKW and Boardwalk are 2 fantastic resorts with very diferrent atmospheres. From what I can see, any necessary improvements have been made in a timely manner, at both resorts, and are both in excellent condition.

I have been to OKW and BWV AND Vero and have loved them all....what do you think that means?
May be I'm easy?

I see two big problems at BWV: Parking & Birds. Too many freeloaders filling up the parking, too many birds ruining balconies and harrasings guests. As for OKW: If they do stop pool hopping then I do feel OKW will need a slide.

I just got back from 3days at OKW sand 2 at BW. I liked both resorts but I thought that BW needs the most work. I thought that carpet in several of the common areas was worn and dirty and needed replaced and that the clown face needed to be cleaned and painted. I also noticed the bird doo on balcony.
I own at BW.

BW - the exterior siding is badly sun faded, and the awnings are in terrible shape. Fortunately, all that is to be rehabed this year.
