I thought I had a good deal..$540 for 6 nights at Amerisuites..Lake Buena Vista. Then I read the promotion for Radisson Resort....then I see a better price for Radisson with upgrade offer (pool view) at hotelkingdom.com. Total price for 6 nights....$463.40!!!
What to do???
Which is better quality and location?? Amerisuites or Radisson Resort Parkway??? Help??
Disney...are you listening?

Gosh, now I'm posting replies to my own thread!!!! How sad is that??
I should add....at Amerisuites I get complimentary continental bkfst and refrigerator/microwave in room..............it's sort of a small suite I think...

Well I can't talk about the amerisuite, but we did just stay at the Radisson and had a great time. The rooms are really nice with duvets comforters on the bed. We paid $5.00 a night for a fridge, no free breakfast but we just kept ceral and milk in the room and had that. The location is hard to beat it is just like being onsite it is literally just down the road from WDW. the pool area is lots of fun with a big water slide and water fall in the main pool. Let me know if I can give you any more info.

For those prices have you thought of looking into a condo? In a condo you'd have lots more room. I've seen them advertised in the $450-$600 price range. We're going to be trying one next month for the first time.

Looked into a condo and they're quite expensive (peak season) and mostly all I emailed that are nice (and....expensive) are already booked. I even looked into 3 bdrm villas. Same result!I really love staying on-site and if you're checking in before Christmas, even Christmas day, the deals are good, but we are adding this on to a 10 day Caribbean cruise (not disney) so I'm really trying to find a reasonable rate and Disney has none checking in after Christmas. Last Christmas I stayed at the Contemporary for $129 a night, which was great but I checked in December 23rd.:(

Ouch! Peak season does make a big difference. Congrats on the great deal at the Contemporary from last year! Have fun deciding & enjoy your cruise!

Call the Amerisuites and see if they have any rooms available with the Entertainment book discount. If they do, book that and then go and buy yourself a card. (you don't have to have the card in hand to make the reservation) We are paying $48 with tax for 3 nights in mid Sept. If they have Ent. rooms available, it would be around $300.
